Did you replace the transmission pressure relief valve for one rated to use with a loader? They recommend replacement when using with the 40 OEM JD loader.

I did but not before using it as is for a few months. Didn't know I needed it at the time of purchase. Thankfully nothing was damaged

@@huntall6665 which part number valve did you replace it with? There is a part number that is $200 used for the x700 series that people have been having luck using.

Bw15043 is the part number I used. It is technically listed for the x series tractors
