There was an AT AP Lego set, but the own shown by Brickvault is a custom design they sell instructions for. It's built more to scale Properly with minifigures and designed to be more detailed. It is way WAY more than just a copy.

It doesn't exist without printing on it so far, But that may change in the future. There are ways to remove printing without damaging the part though and that's probably what the builder did, Can't help you with that unfortunately as I have never done it myself.

To give him some credit, I don't think there were many exterior shots of the Nostromo in the original Alien, but it's name is known well enough that I'd think it would have at least sounded familiar to him. (Also, it kinda bugged me that he called Marco's GaiGar a "cool mech design" and didn't even touch on how seamlessly it transformed)
