During the last months I saw some nice Proto P2 cars at different events. These cars are a sort of covered go-karts with a very low weight and powered by motorcycle-derived engines which makes them very agile and suitable for slalom races.
In this video you can see four of these little beasts among which the beautiful orange Fiat 500 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 built by the guys of APD Protocorse or the yellow Fiat 500 Kawasaki ZX12R driven by Ronny Marchegger.

The little orange Fiat is an entertaining watch. But it would be quicker if the guy settled down and drove smoothly without all that power over-steer out of the corners that seriously slows him down. In fact, it looks like he has a traction problem and needs to drive gentler or develop the car more. Likely the car is too powerful for it's weight.

the first and third one haven't motorcycle engines ;) the first one had cylinder heads from and honda or suzuki motorcycle ! an the third one is just an well tuned 1.4 Abarth engine
