I 100% agree with you there, Dish. I also waited a year for Cyno's release, because Anubis is my favorite Egyptian god, but when he was out and tested him, he was boring and couldn't care anymore about him. I was so disappointed, but he is still one of my favorite characters. Tighnari is so much more fun, that's why i even lost my f2p status for him on his own banner. Tighnari and Cyno's friendship is adorable and funny too. 🦊

Had my eyes on Cyno since I first saw the teyvat chapter storyline trailer and started saving since 2.4. When I saw his gameplay leaks I knew that I wasn't gonna like it as much as I expected but I was already too deep in the hype and commitment so I still pulled and honestly... I think that his pure aggravate team is pretty boring but on the other hand....the HYPERBLOOM TEAM is super fun for me tbh! The combo Cyno + Xingqiu feels oddly satisfying but yeah I agree with you on Nari

I think the reason Cyno feels boring is because his E doesn't really do anything. Even giving it 2-3 stacks would have made it more fun. His burst is like 95% of his damage, but it has a fat energy cost and ends up killing things too fast to really enjoy it lol

I figured the chest (the one you kept killing Sayu for) was going to be available when you gain access to the area; and yup… And if you haven’t gotten her yet, Nahida and Cyno are a good combination. Can’t say it’ll make you enjoy him more, but her Dendro application lasts a long time- matching his burst.

3:46 that precious chest on that cliff... I know I shouldn't say this but... I just casually flew to it with kazuha.... like it was no big deal. (it really wasn't... it wasn't even my intention of flying to it... I had a different destination in mind... but it just happened to be there on the way and my kazuha was flying above it, so I just... decided to drop down and pick it up.) I think my original intention was to reach a dendroculis that was a bit too high up for me to reach... from another high point... before I remembered that you can just use electro on those mushrooms.... it was a dumb and stupid moment of my life I know... but at least I somehow stumbled upon that precious chest while doing it so... I guess it wasn't entirely stupid in the end, despite my lack of sanity at the time.

tbh i agree abt the cyno comment. his design, animations and voice are REALLY cool.. but then his playstyle, dmg, and personality are kinda.... underwhelming. i just feel so sad cause i was so hyped for him but his actual release was a bit dissapointing. the build i have on him should, in theory deal rly good dmg, but its just.. alright. especially since he doesnt have many support options rn(ik nahida works but i dont like her). if i were to put his build on another character they do way more, so why even use him in abyss? i still love his design but he had so much potential

Me too, having sligth regret for Cyno, he doesn't live up to his expectation, for f2p maybe, if ur a whale its a different story.. Hahhaha. 😅His burst animation is too cool that it ddnt live up to what it can do😅.. The numbers are just so low even with 70x230 crit ratio.. Compare to other dps such as Xiao and Itto being the closest similar Burst. 🤔

I feel the same way about Kazuha as you do Cyno I find playing him incredibly boring, and I only pulled for him because of all the hype around this “op character” Biggest issue is, I’m forced to be F2P and I wasted my Scaramouche pity on him. Yes, I have enough to guarantee Scaramouche now, but I really would have preferred to get Childe over Kazuha. :’)

That's why it's always best to pull for who you enjoy instead of meta or hype (but did I learn from my mistakes? no). I pulled for Cyno and regret it. I don't love his playstyle and he just doesn't fit well in any of my teams. Worst of all, I didn't even get Candace.
