Little Giants alumni Shawna Waldron and Sam Horrigan graced the stage at Classic Rewind Weekend 2022 to talk about this classic film, their experiences, and to answer fan questions.
Shawn Waldron played Becky “Icebox” O’Shea in Little Giants but is also known for roles in To Kill a Mockumentary, The American President, Ladies Man, Family Rules, Stitch, Dead Man Rising, and more.
Sam Horrigan was Spike Hammersmith in Little Giants but is also known for roles in Escape to Witch Mountain (1995), Grace Under Fire, Brink!, School of Rock, Veronica Mars, 8 Simple Rules, and more.

I know Becky liked Jr, but (especially since her dad liked Jr’s mom and probably would’ve gotten married), I always thought her and Spike would’ve been a good couple too if they’d get along. Heck: they’re both really good football players and both don’t take crap from others. Nice to hear that they got along so well during filming (skee ball is fun).

I love them two, from one of my favorite rare movies, watched the movie 2 days ago, epic music and even sound effects...with sound effects I don't often notice in movies, but it's pretty good. I always hoped in the movie they would have a thing but I love her with Jr too, but now in real life I'd like to see them get together for spike and the icebox

I love little Giants even though I'm 50 years old. I think a good sequel Idea would be for Becky and Spike to be opposing Pee Wee Football 🏈 coaches with Becky having a son who is the team heartthrob but not very talented and Spike somehow having a weakling son on his team. If the sequel was made I would definitely go to the Cinema to see it. Heck I'm that desperate to see American Football 🏈 movies in Cinemas over here across the pond in Northern Ireland that I went to see 80 For Brady in the Cinema and I'm a man. Serious though ,PLEASSSSSE release it in Cinemas and not just on Streaming services
