I had a similar thing happen to me when I was 18 or 19. Came around a corner to a young girl crying running and out of breath with this guy close behind her. I asked if she was ok she said no and looked back at him getting closer so she ran he saw me and stopped so I chased after him while she ran the opposite way. The guy got away from me he was just too fast lucky for him. That was nearly a decade ago I still walk the same route a few times a week hoping to find him. I have sleep less nights and dreams about trying to catch him.
