I love this song so much and it really pisses me off that his label told him he needed to tone it down. Eminem and a bunch of other rappers have written songs about raping and murdering people and have not once been told to tone it down. Yet when Ed wrote a beautiful song that sheds light on how most prostitutes are forced into the business by someone they trusted and was told it was too graphic just really pisses me off.

Actually the FCC has basically censored Eminem's music pretty much since he came out. It's the topic and the graphic depictions of sensitive subjects

its bc ed is trying to appeal to a different audience than this song attracts. dont get me wrong, this is to date my favorite song by him, but too many mom and dad's don't want to hear this.

Ed and Em don’t share the same label so you really can’t compare the two. You’re implying all label are the same but the show favoritism by allowing some to record things while others can do the same.

Then I just googled The A Team recently and read its Wikipedia page and it mentioned "Little Lady" so I got curious and searched it on KZbin and when I did, I was freaking close to tears! I never knew the whole story behind The A Team. I should google more often.

A-Team made me cry the first time around and now I am actually crying again. This is so good and it gives a completely different background story to Ed's original version. Ed sort of dresses story line up and makes it nice and vague but Mikall fricken pounces on it like a puma, dammit this is good.

Nwovance No it's not a compliment, the fact that guys like you even exist makes me sick.. I think it's rather pathetic that you think by calling me that would be a compliment, but it's not. I am smart enough to not even think that that is a compliment. And I'm not dumb enough to even pretend to believe it is from a dip like you. But good try :) And hookers are not attractive, no offense to those who don't choose to be one, but the ones that do are disgusting there are other ways to make money. Oh and guys who even think that it's cute are pathetic and clearly amount to nothing. :D

This is the most down to earth rap earth I have ever heard. This happened a to people and then people ignore it because it’s easier, life’s hard and for I can not imagine going through this ever. This needs to be shared more❤️❤️❤️

I hurd this and I sadly made connections, to me and others but the thing is people don't think there can be a story in a song. but here one is and it's so deep and meaningful I just can't even function right now

My friend, she's 13, shared that she was raped by her 19 yr old step brother. Immediately reminded me of this song, so sad. And WTF is wrong with parents these days!!?!! She still lives across the street from that bastard!

my idea: to stop these storys from happening a man ( undercover cop usually) would get a prostitut into a motel room with him then instead of sleeping with her he would explain he is an under cover cop and then he would save her we need a orginaztion like this

But I feel like it could be somewhat unfair. I mean, if an officer saves one girl, the others will probably suffer horrible consequences because of the one that got rescued. I think the best solution would be taking down the whole whorehouse at once.

yes the part that says " all because she got a card for her 13th birthday" means the cop gave her his card with his number on it, and she spills her purse and her pimp sees the card and kills her. Basically it's saying that she got killed on her 13th birthday.

I think both songs are necessary. I first heard this original version in full today, after first being told about it a couple of days ago, but they both tell very different stories. Personally, I think the best way to experience these songs is to listen to the remake first, and then this original. First about drug addiction, and then for this poor girl who just… Sorry. Still getting over it.

Ok, I've never heard this before, when I started listening to this I thought "Hang on, this is just The A Team right?" Good god I was wrong. I remember my mate telling me about this version, I thought The A Team was heartbreaking good Jesus. This guy is literally our Eminem, I haven't heard a song that poignant and sad since Stan.

This is such a powerful song. It explains the life of someone who doesn't have the power to. My mum loves this song and so do I. I cried the first time i heard the last line because it shocked me to hear that a young girl, only around my age, went through this.I know that this happens every day but hearing it being said made me actually feel what this girl is going through. I heard a bunch of stories like this and i just related that to this song and felt like i could be one of those girls.
