The film is excellent. I spent many years in England, meeting people from different parts of Britain, I listened to a few English Language accents, extending from from Scotland all the way to Par in Cornwall, including in Northumberland at Newcastle with the Geordies down in the mines with the pit ponies. I met and debated with a few Parliamentarians including, Harold Wilson and Roger Bannister, Dame Irene Ward, and Manny Shinwell, also Lord Rochdale at his Castle in the Lake district, Lord Louis and Lady Edwina Mountbatten and the offspring/relations to Lord Armstrong at Barnbarough Castle, near Holy Island. In the film, all the settings, and the accents, are very accurate indeed, and the actors, they all carried the part exceptionally, well except the false mother and her son. Experience shows that type of women would not be able to carry the sort of "air and flamboyancy" as she demanded in the party and when she wanted her tea in the library. That was more than a little exaggeration. The false mother was portrayed too aloof, her son was portrayed as a simpleton which should not be like that, as it seemed to overbalance the situation. The director slipped a little on those two characters, but apart from that, all the authentic equipment, including the elegance and accuracy of the attire worn by both sexes, males and females, and those horse carriages, were accurate down to the tiniest detail. The horses were magnificent. The Earl and his sister and their diction was 100% fitting the role, while the true mother and the Little Lord fitted so well, and one might as well mention the behaviour of that big dog which was most fitting. As far as the rest of the servants and staff from both sides of the Atlantic ocean, well, those accents were a pleasant memory shaking of my memories, of the sixteen years I spent in Britain working on armaments, in Royal naval Dockyards, spanning Plymouth, Davenport, Portsmouth , Chatham and Rosyth up North, and the private ones Swan and Hunters, close to Newcastle and John Brown at Glasgow. It is such a pity that Britain has changed its character since 1955, since I made my fist step on that island. I prefer the old Britain with its Engineering Industries , as all I knew back then is now gone., manufacturing was outsource to China while the servicing industries outsources to India and other far places. It seems that what was taught in British Factory schools and boarding schools and other schools has been outsourced to memory in Google. Thank you for the memories.

Cool Acting... this movie is Failed , the movie that was filmed in 1936 is much better and more beautiful than this poorly coordinated and acted.Sorry for words., But this is an My opinion.

Greetings, He is not great classic , not excellent movie, if anyone seeing the old movie who are filmed in the year 1936 , He will change his opinion for this movie. The old movie is beautiful and classic more times than this one.
