The eternal happiness is the death of the daughter cause now she is free from that toxic relationship since well the child is dead and the father in prison. this is just a theory i think but if you look at the scene where they show how misfortune died (3:03:13) you can see the tire prints are leading to her dad's car. so it might be her dad who ran over her

@@Alici_Evans I think she is dead right from the beginning of the "game" when we see her in the room playing because Morgo is already there, in her head, luring her over to play his steps to get her soul to him. It would explain why the tracks are already there from the beginning. Morgo already twisted her world from that first scene and as she plays along, she remembers more of her past life until she revisits the place of her death where she finally remembers what happened. She circles all the way back, so Bejni then can lead her down the path to Death. Basically coming to terms with reality (she always loved to dream, after all, she didn't want to face what she saw) and becoming free.

I'd you ever wanna play a game like this again, I recommend Fran Bow. It's a game from the same developers and the lore is kind of tied with this one. Also very traumatizing and gorey but a beautiful game nonetheless, in my opinion
