I’m pretty sure the song is about a girl who was raised to be “perfect” then she meets a girl that she likes but the idea of sexuality and love confuses her so she tries to push the emotions down but one night when she was at a sleep over and slips up and expresses her emotions for a girl, so she comes to terms with who she is and shows pride in it. I personally think this is a wonderful song
