They carried everything for the behind the scenes, but for the music video shoot, Jesy did deliver - killed the choreo, smashed the looks, switched herself of when it really mattered. I empathise because in a group project situation, sometimes you're feeling so poorly but feel extremely trapped in the arrangement, like okay I can't bail I need to do what I can. So I'll choose what I'll be on about (the things that will matter the most/count in the end) and try to back/stay out of the bits I think I'm not particularly needed for, or might even spoil. If you think about it, if she'd not appeared in any of the group commentary shots, no one would comment like you did.

yeah. that's what she said in her documentary. she said that cus people always judge her for her looks in everything so it has gotten to a point that she's always so concerned about how she looks in the videos. she said that cus she knows that if she doesn't look "good enough" people are going to criticise her and not want to watch the video. it's honestly very sad.

Yes, she is quite obsessed about how she looks in the music videos, and if you really observe, it's not out of vanity, but rather fear and anxiety. The post X-Factor trajectory fucked her over mentally. I disagree about the "giving a good person" comment, she delivered the looks, the faces and the choreo splendidly, even more so considering how she was having panic attacks on set. Same for Sweet Melody, she was really good in that despite how she was feeling on set. She always delivers what is creatively required.

Guys, depression is really hard. No matter how hard you try to feel happy and appreciate the good things/people around you and all but you really can't because of the feeling that you can't explain. It's like all your motivation and feelings are gone. You want to be happy but you can't and it's really frustrating tbh. You just feel numb about everything and all you ever want to do is to just disappear that's why I understand Jesy's side tho. It's not being selfish at all. It's just that she really couldn't help it. Okay, let's just say that she, at least, should've pretended to be happy but trust me, it's really hard to pretend especially when the depression is really strong. In fact, I feel so proud of Jesy here because even though she's having a hard time, she still managed to do things. :)
