I am so in love with this song for some of the wrong reasons. it makes me cry and it slightly bothers me seeing people compare this song to One Direction's They Don't Know About Us. and I'm a 1d fan. it bothers me for my own personal reasons. this song is haunting and sadly reminds me of domestic violence in relationships. at first it didn't but when I noticed the voices in the background of arguing, it reminded me of some things I've seen when I was little with my mom and her past relationships. and then I listened to the lyrics closer and they deeply remind me of all the times I'd try to convince my mom not to go back to certain people and she would just say I don't understand and that she loves them but I've seen everything she thought I didn't growing up and at the end of the song when it's a fight in the background with a cello and a violin it makes the thought etched into my mind of this song probably being about that topic even if it's not. sorry to make anyone depressed with this

+Naomi Ruiz i never liked the lyrics of this song bc it is so different from what little mix tend to sing about. it always gave me a weird vibe. it may not be about domestic abuse. but i dont think it's like them to say to (younger) fans to not listen to their family and stuff. it always bothered me the part where they say the sister is just jealous bc it sounded like a (problematic) excuse to me. that's why i love your interpretation of the song. now it all makes sense to me at least and im sorry about mom i hope you both are okay now :)
