Happy #ClassicCountryCovers Monday, friends!! As many of you know, I am a very proud Italian, and I’m also very proud of the impact Italian-American artists have made on the music industry. One of my favorites is the fabulous Dean Martin. Besides being a big-band mainstream pop artist, Dean also made a lot of really great country recordings, and this was one of my favorites, “Little Ole Wine Drinker Me”, which was also sung by Merle Haggard, Lefty Frizzell, Charlie Walker, and even Robert Mitchum! I think Dean’s trademark lazy swagger is just perfect for this tune 😂🍷 Written by Hank Mills and Dick Jennings!
