If you take the stitch length and make it "0" so it just goes up and down, not moving back and forth, you should be able to free motion quilt with no regulation as we do on industrial sewing machines.

What thickness of thread can this handle? Can it do the heavy duty tex threads needed for bag making? I haven't gotten an answer

So if your a person on SS it takes me about 3 months to save for this I will pay $1000.00 more . How long will you be able to be in preorders I wouldn't care about of being on the bottom of the list. do they taker the balance when it is shipped or before?

Hey Chery, it depends on your machine honestly. The Cutie Breeze will be compatible with most machines out there. Although you can not buy the Cutie Breeze by itself until October, you can go check the Cutie Frame on our website. www.graceframe.com

Question - can the stitch regulation be used without the frame? For example, could the fabric be moved to quilt, similar to a sit down model without a frame?

That is a great question Sharon! Yes, you can use the Little Rebel as a sit down model. Then new optical encoder sits next to the needle plate so it can always track your fabric. Feel free to learn more about our product at graceframe.com/en/sewing-machines/little-rebel
