That Audrey II puppet was actually built by Monkey Boys Productions (a replica of the puppet from the 2003 Broadway production, designed, and operated, by veteran puppeteer Martin P. Robinson, a principal performer for Sesame Street who also designed and puppeteered the plant in the original off-Broadway production in 1982, and The Jim Henson Company), founded by puppeteers and puppet designers Marc Petrosino and Michael Latini (both of whom helped operate the plant in the 2004 U.S. national tour). Monkey Boys also created the Audrey II currently used in the 2019 off-Broadway revival of the show.
