Dude, so glad you went through this three times, it’s just so good ☄️☄️. Little Simz is a massively solid artist, I think she’s been at it since she was 9, mostly as an independant artist. I’ve been hooked on her since hearing Boss on a uni radio station. She’s worth the deep dive.

There is not one US female rapper at present that even touches this woman's talent, pen, vital messages, grace & class! Probably one of the greatest in the world right now. Her award winning albums are masterpieces, great actor too, versatile multi-talent. U.S is missing out on what we're doing here in the U.K & of course then go on to accept industry plants like Central Cee over Simz & Dave...

@@not41pop 1. Dave is 1 of the greatest rappers/lyricists/storytellers in the world right now. Child prodigy. 2 award winning albums. He plays the piano & guitar, produces music & his videos, directs some of them & runs his own independent record label. You have to have your brain in gear when you listen to what he has to say as his word play is on another level. The shame is that the UK has been saving the art of Hip Hop for years now but America just prefers to stick with their new generation of 3rd raters sadly. Just put Dave into your KZbin search & enjoy the friggin' ride. Start with his 1st album which he wrote at only 17 yrs old, a lot based on his life growing up in London - the tracks Psychodrama & Lesley then go to his live performance of Black - be prepared to have your mind blown & your hairs standing on edge!!! 2. Simz stars in the incredible series TOP BOY on Netflix, Dave also appears in it. In fact the 2 lead actors are also 2 very famous rappers here. Start with Summer House : Top Boy. Check out one of the lead actors KANO legendary freestyle on the Fire In The Booth show. UK Grime/Rap is next levels word play & masterful beat productions. I want to also suggest AVELINO'S SEMINAL TRACK CASSIUS CLAY FT DAVE - Tell me this should have made it to the States & hit the charts & explain why it never did, you'll be so blown away bro!!! Kendrick Lamar/ J Cole - we got a ton of them... The only UK genre of music not accepted into the US charts, is it because the new US rap 'talent' is afraid of it...
