whilst SIMBI felt like a grand statement on so many personal and social topics - this album feels more intimate and zoomed in on self-love and finding our calling as a central theme. it also feels like a self-reflective victory lap after the one-two punch of GREY area and SIMBI. that's perfect for the winter when we're all struggling in the cold and dark and need some self-care. that's just my interpretation from my first few listens but I think NO THANK YOU still has a lot more to say to me. thank you Simz
