What a pleasure it is to be alive at the same time as Stevie Wonder. It makes me feel like it's the golden age of music but then it's always the golden age of music when you're in America.

I was fortunate enough to meet Stevie that year or a couple of years later, when he was attending the Michigan School for the Blind. I was sixteen. My mother was the secretary to the Superintendent, Dr. Robert Thompson. Berry Gordy had appealed to Dr. T. because other schools wouldn't let Stevie go on tour because he'd miss too much school. Dr. T. found a tutor--I can't remember his name--for him so he could go on tour. The tutor was blind himself, but had taught himself tot do almost anything. The tutor taught my mother how to sail! I was so proud of having met Stevie, and loved Motown so much. Truly, they made sure Stevie would be able to pursue his God-given talent.

I saw young men dressed up in the summer of 1963 in a beach resort we was staying at in Minnesota, waiting for construction to be finished on our house. They were 'interacting with' classic looking' greasers in jeans and white T-shirts and Frats in their Gant Shirts and penny loafers. These guys had iridescent coloured Nehru suits with pant creases one could have cut a finger on. Very slick. So strange to see them get thrown into the lake. That was the summer of my introduction to turf wars and Little Stevie Wonder. Never seen this before. Great catch. Little Stevie Wonder - 1963 Fingertips Part II

It hasn’t gone- they don’t give people with ACTUAL talent a chance anymore. If you look online you’ll find millions of people who play instruments, sing, arrange music etc but the entertainment industry won’t touch them bc they only want certain people, certain looks and to play certain music because it appeals to the brain dead young population of America who only care about someone’s looks.
@@jreal215 Isn't that the truth. If a musician cannot sing or play an instrument live, without electrical correction, they aren't talented.
