Dude, I am seriously impressed how you go out and tackle these isolated roads all on your own. I guess that reflects the Ulysses spirit. Surprised to see road markers and sign posts. Are you not worried about head on traffic on such narrow roads? Particularly in fog?

I think the signs are an economic thing - sign cost compared to a search and rescue - but yes, very helpful. As for hazards, the camera gives the impression of less view of what's ahead than there is. While these roads look isolated, there's just the right amount of traffic - six 4WD and two bikes for the day. Last resort, PLB. And the fog in places was surreal! (compounded by that on lens) 'Misty Mountain Hop' (Led Zeppelin) would have been a nice soundtrack but you have to pay for these things!
