► His family called him "our little superhero" who "put up the biggest fight". Today six-year-old Bradley Lowery died in the arms of his mum and dad, surrounded by his family.
His story - and beaming smile - moved and inspired millions, as he was being treated for a rare form of cancer.
After appearing as a mascot for Sunderland football club Bradley struck up a close friendship with star striker Jermain Defoe.
