Researching compact tractors and the RK25 looks like the best value out there for the features you get. One set of rear remotes included. Add a 3rd function for $1,000 for a grand total of $17 K. Now you have a tractor well equipped for property management. This is the tractor i would get.

Love what you're doing, great tractor but you need some weight on the ass end desperately. Put a 500lb 3-point box on there and you will be amazed at the different in handling the heavy items.

Lots of poison ivy on that tree. Hope you are not allergic.

Hooking that clamp thing closer to the end of that log would have kept it from digging in so much and made it much easier to pull out

I like your videos. I have about 300 hours on my RK24, amazing what that tractor will do. I purchased the grapple with mine can't imagine a tractor without that availability. I think you will get good service out off your machine and it will serve you well, thanks for the videos
@donaldstrishock39233 жыл бұрын
Hey Michael--300 hours, are you trying too break a record? How long have you had your rig?
@russellmott17263 жыл бұрын
If you haven't already figured it out, you'd probably had an easier time if you would have hooked your chain to the loop on your pallet forks and lifted as you pulled backwards, but great video.
@woodlandskipper83923 жыл бұрын
that possibly would have worked better. some of the logs I have been pulling out are pretty heavy tho so i don't know.

Hi name Ben I like to see you used Rk25 rotary cutter I'm interested in Rk25 see more what it can do
@woodlandskipper83923 жыл бұрын
Good idea. i recently did some cutting with it in the woods and unfortunately did not film it. next time i use it i will try to make a video.
@mr.redneck27153 жыл бұрын
You put the hook on wrong. If you put the hook on the bottom and near the front you could have pulled it out easily. Also a shorter hitch would put weight on the back wheels rather than remove weight. Get more weight on the back of the tractor before you get a lesson in physics. My father always used to say you can’t teach anyone physics but you can always give them one!

I am doing the same kind of work on badly overgrown acreage with lots of downed & dead trees entangled in roots and large vines and some household appliances, fencing, etc. I think the RK 25 is the way to go. Good editing--your informative videos show more than a lot of similar videos that are 2 or 3 times as long. 👍👍 What brand is your brush hog?

Excellent job man, u have a subscriber here... im really liking the rk performance...are your rear tires loaded by chance, helped me out tremendously... keep up the good work ol buddy and be safe making picks like that with the rops down and no ballast.. sure would hate to see a good operator get hurt for something as simple as those 2 choices... have a great day and keep the vids coming ..

I have a very simular tractor, a T234. I would never consider moving heavy logs without the ROPs up. Things can go bad very quickly. Also I have my box blade installed as a counter balance, and loaded tires too. Watching you move those logs make me cringe. Your rear tires are coming off the ground at times. All it would take is some uneven ground and you would go over.

And why not, doesn't every "twackter" owner deserve to experience a " hydro-slack-o-howl-o-break-o-matic" as their one & only "do-every-thing" rig. My "hydro" is broke down again (doesn't matter what kind), while my 2 others ( gear-drives) are still at it. A 3 speed hydro-unit is mandatory. A lower range with "screaming RPMs" will give these units a chance. But most "owners" use medium & high the " mostest". I would like to meet a "owner" that the unit is payed-off & with at least A THOUAND HOURS, ( which is light for a "Real Tractor") racked up with trouble-free service.That "GO-GO pedal(s) is Luved by the dealers & maufatures , because they are cheaper to make & easy to sell. All those fluids, expensive filters, Howling&Whining sounds must really be worth a minor convenience to have ONE.

@@donaldstrishock3923 LOL, don't ya know you have to run'em full bore all the time so you can't hear the howl. Sound's like you've had some shitty luck with the Hydro's, but I'm right there with you. For me anyway it's geared tranny all the way for lugging and work. Hydro would be great for mowing the lawn, maybe I'm just old school.
@donaldstrishock39233 жыл бұрын
@@danclas5983 only like hydro's for "delicate & very light duty". Gear drive's are for the serious production worker's in real action.Hydro's have their place-- better be making 50.oo$ an hour with them, they break alot.Thanks for the comment and happy safe tractoring.

FIRST THING THIS TRACTOR IS NOT MADE PULLING THAT KIND OF WEIGHT UNLESS U HAVE BOX BLADE WITH SCRAIFIRE FOR BALLAST AND U CAN SHORT CHAIN JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE / B U T THE MAIN THING U NEED REAR WEIGHT ON REAR OF THE TRACTOR > EXAMPLE : BOX BLADE SCARIFIRE OR BRUSH HOE OR TILLER OR YOUR CHOICE OF WEIGHT ! . YOUR SALE PERSON WILL TELL BUY BALLAST BOX , U WILL BE WASTE YOUR MONEY B E C A U SE U CAN USE YOUR IMPLEYMENT FOR YOUR WEIGHT ! . THEN YOUR SALE PERSON WILL TELL U NEED BEET JUICE OR SOME THING ELSE FUILD / THEN WITH RIM AND THE TIRE GET TO HOT GOING TO STICK TO YOUR TIRE AND RIM , CAUSE U IN THE LONG RUN BUY BRAND NEW TIRE OR RIM AGAIN , NEVER DO THIS JUST GOING TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AGAIN ? ALL WAY USE YOUR FARM IMPEMENT FOR BALLAST ! . RK 25 TRACTOR NOT MADE PICKUP THAT KIND OF WEIGHT WITH LOADER BUCKET SOONER OR LATER WILL MIGHT BROKE YOUR LOADER HYD CYL RAM ?
