must be a German thing. My (German) mom rarely cared about what others thought of things she did. When she couldn't fit her deceased mother's bathrobe in her luggage when we were flying back home to the US and was told she couldn't carry it on she just put the bathrobe on over her clothes so she could bring it with her. I have a picture of her at the airport wearing that bathrobe.

Congratulations Mike on the progress you've made with your health over the last year. It's wonderful when you see visable signs of your efforts. If you can get a good deal I'd love it if you could go back to Germany to be with your mom around the holidays. I love seeing you back in Germany around Christmas visiting with your mom and I know if would bring joy to her heart to be with you. Would love to see a video of her making a traditional Christmas meal if she is up to that kind of thing. I also love seeing your mom because she reminds me so much of my mom. Guess it's just a German mother thing.

This is an interesting place for repeat videos and interviews. La Brea Tar Pits too. Los Angeles has a lot of overlooked interesting architecture..... Some interiors still echo the Art Deco aesthetic of the "Golden Era" of movies. ie El Rey theatre
