Hi Misty! I just recently found at that my husband's cousin painted Mary Gregory for Westmoreland Glass. He is now deceased. He signed all his work and was the head of the department.

The reason you may have difficulty selling sets of glasses, may bet that collectors of them are sometimes like myself ( limited on space and collect individual glasses as opposed to groups) I personally have about 200 or so individual ones , all on display. You have the funnest attitude toward life!!

I have the WWI era poster at 3:24. It is a family heirloom! It is probably my favorite vintage item I own. It was always in my parent's home or my grandmother's home, and when my grandma passed she left it to me.

I would have had a blast. I'm shopping for myself. My daughters can resell after I'm gone, and it will all be profit for them. I have a bag of my mom's kewpies. I'm not sure what to do with them. One has some clothes so I'm giving that to my niece. She has an issue with nudity. My parents sold antiques and baseball cards monthly at a flea market for decades. I sold the baseball cards. Can't even remember where everything is. My mom put slips of paper on things identifying who had owned it. Great for keeping heirlooms. I need to do that for my daughters.

I really enjoy shopping with you! Good for you that you get what you like rather than what you feel you should get (so people don't think your weird) I'm an old lady who has finally given herself permission to let the weird in me be seen! Should have done it years ago - I would have been happier for a longer time! Thank you for being you!

Thank you for telling me that the small crescent-shaped dishes I have are bone dishes. I've been wondering for 2 years. I'm not sure but when I scanned them on Google Lens it indicated they may be from the 1800's. I'm not a reseller or collector, just needed some fancy dishes for a special ocassion. I paid about $7 for six matching dishes.

The guy on the plate is a Biliken. Bilikens are the "God of what Ought to Be". They bring you luck, especially when they are gifted to you. Were a fad created in the 1900s-1910s and made in the USA. Keep an eye out for sheet music because he had at least 1 song. He is also a mascot for St Louis University and for a Shrinners group called the Royal Order of Jesters. Some Inuit carved art is also labeled Biliken but Im not sure if it is just called that because they look similar. There is a Robert Taylor and Vivien Leigh movie called "Waterloo Bridge" that has a Biliken as part of the movie plot.

The box with the first set of salt and pepper shakers was from J.L. Hudson department store (Hudson’s), which was a huge, beautiful department store in Detroit. (I recognized the logo immediately.) My guess is that it may be the original gift box.

I love watching your videos so much because : 1) Your personality is infectious in a good way (not like Covid) 2)You seem to enjoy looking at and purchasing quirky things just like I do. 3) I learn a lot about identification and the value of vintage stuff. 4) There’s something so great about the way you talk. It is enjoyable and I can’t quite describe it, but it’s the way you say some words. It’s not really an accent, but cool, so I’m just gonna keep listening. 5) I love the way you call out the clowns! I don’t like them, either! 6) I like the way you talk to the items like, “Look at you, lil’ kitty chasing that bug!” It’s just pleasant! P.S. I was blown away by the Kewpie collection in this video. I have NEVER seen them on glassware. I would have probably bought that picture of the kewpies on felt. Also, your eyes looked really beautiful at the end of the video. I think the sun was shining on them and the blue was just so vibrant!
