I'm going to write something and I really hope people understand what I mean and don't jump on my back. When a little person has a baby statistics show its a 50/50 chance they are going to be little and along with that is health issues. I'm sure mum's dad's have seen lots of LP with major medical issues. So when mum crying saying if I could take her place, I just want her be happy, she's going thru all this surgery. It is no surprise u brought the child in to the world knowing all the possible serious health issues. I don't understand why they would want to put their child thru all the "pain"he bullying health development that they did.

I know this post is very old lol. But I think it’s because as a woman, of course they would want to reproduce and have a child. It isn’t their fault that they were born a little person. It’s natural for women to reproduce, just because you’re little shouldn’t stop your chances in becoming a mom or a dad. You can select which children you are willing to accept as clients. There are facilities that require your child be potty trained. The show has made enough money why is Terrra too lazy to raise the child herself! Terra is a selfish B for internationally making an innocent child suffer. Terra knew would her offspring would be plagued with poor health for life disabled from birth.

This touched my heart my son has a congenital head dislocation (his arm was not formed properly his bones did not connect as a normal arm does ) that makes his arm twisted so his hand is almost backwards I went to two specialist I cried and cried because I was told he would not be able to open doors with it or use a computer at school my boy is now 3 he plays normal I’m just scared at 4 is the age where kids with this will complain of pain I’m not ready but all I can do is pray that god continues to be with him .

Terra had me crying right with her even though I have not been able to watch the show in a long time she has always been my favorite cast member. Seeing her so upset hit close to home. My best friend lost her son bc of this condition. It really is a repeated surgery as they get older. My friends son was not a little person but the shunt malfunctioning he lost almost all of my physical and mental ability to function and past away at 8yr old. It is very serious and to see anyone with that fear broke my heart. I hope all is well or as well as it can be.

I was asst. Director & Pre-K teacher at a private preschool that was a daycare in the afternoon & although it might be an adjustment to the 3 yr old class, I dont see why they wouldn't take Penny. Unless the Child/Teacher ratio in that state would change due to Penny not walking i.e. hiring another teacher.

You know, dwarfism is known to come with a lot of risks and she got pregnant knowing that. She says she was okay with having to out her daughter through surgeries for dwarfism but she wasn't prepared for this. Well, just because you're okay with it that doesn't mean she is. That child is going to wonder why her mom brought her into this situation. Good luck explaining that to her. It's selfish and unfair to bring a child into the world knowing they will have so many disadvantages, struggles and pain. Why can't people make better choices. I'll never understand this.

Shunts are not a big deal .... My grandma has one, my brother has one, they really are very typical. I feel like Terra always likes to be dramatic even if it means exploiting her kids. Bless Penny and Greyson.

Well la tee da for your family. My best friend with spina bifida has had 23 surgeries to fix and replace his shunts because they keep failing. So how is she being over dramatic? A brain surgery on her daughter is very serious. Shunts can be a very big deal. I am so glad your family does well. No severe vomiting from vertigo, or vomiting from the god awful migraines that comes with malfunctions among some of the symptoms.

kither04 sounds like your friend is an unusual case. Your friend probably knows this but to assume you will be the one case that goes horribly wrong isn’t a very good outlook. Also your friend has had a past of failed shunts which would give them a reason to be concerned, Terra however has yet to see penny with a shunt and is acting like she could die or something. Also I’m not saying it’s impossible for penny to be adversely affected by her shunt. And shunts are very common, so common that people who have had 23 surgeries and severe symptoms are able to fully recover.
