Robert Greene stands out in the crowd for a reason. His research and work into the books are based on what he has studied. I have started reading some books that are over 100 years old. They were much more forward about topics we avoid today. What we avoid does not go away. It shows up somewhere different, usually much less directly and very unpleasantly. law 48 is extremely useful.

Greene promotes Manipulative, Deceptive ways to achieve success. Why would you adopt All the red flags you'd avoid in another person ? Just cause you can't eradicate evil, Doesn't mean you gotta join them.... Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you. - Friedrich W. Nietzsche

I hope this helps whoever reads it. These are Action Steps: I followed this for 30 days. My goal was to change my self image and it worked. This is what I did. 1. Write out a statement of your Short Term Goal AND your Chief Aim/Main Goal... on a "goal card" or paper. 2. Write it out 50 times a day for 30 days preferably around the same time each day. After the 30 days, you go back and write it out ONCE a day. This is your compass in life. 3. Set your phone alarm to go off every 3 hours (to disrupt your daily routine) and when it goes off write down your statement and then close your eyes and see yourself with your goal for 2 mins. 4. Record your statement in your voice on a voice recorder on your phone, and play it back to yourself on loop while you sleep and as often as you can daily, example... in the shower or when you are using the rest room. 5. Find an accountability partner. If you cannot find someone, then you MUST write out your statement DAILY. By doing this you make yourself accountable to YOURSELF. 6. Find a community or FB group/group chat, etc and from that community form a Mastermind with one or two people who have studied from REAL Mentors and are giving VALUE. There is a "Law of Giving" and many people are using it. Andrew Carnegie told Napoleon Hill this back in the early 1900s. Its a LAW and it works. Its what I am doing with this post. 7. Auto-Suggest (Think and Grow Rich Chapter 4) to yourself in front of the mirror in the bathroom at least twice a day. Look directly INTO your eyes OR one eye and recite your WRITTEN statement. Then splash cold water on your face. This sudden shock seals the thought into the subconscious due to emotional and physical shock from the cold water. 8. Write out ten "I AM" statements a day. example. I AM happy, I AM more confident. Use the word MORE; implying you already have it, but want more. You trick the brain. 9. Write out 5 things you HAVE that you are grateful for and 5 things that you are grateful for that are coming to you. Mix up the list one after the other. 10. When in public tell people you see that you love them in your mind. Simply say "I LOVE YOU" to them as you pass them, especially when driving, because their subconscious hears and FEELS the intention. Say it to about 10 to 15 people daily. This increases your Good Karma. I hope this helps at least two people. It might seem like a lot. But it took me less than two weeks to incorporate the list into my life and 32 days later I started getting massive results. Thank you for reading.

This is invaluable content!! 👍 Should be required for young people, as it will help fine-tune their people skills while attending school; not only in regards to their peers but in studying the personalities of their teachers, counselors and heck, even parents!! If perceptive, these findings become realized upon observation but these coping pointers take this knowledge about human nature to another level. * I am so used to seeing gazillions of vlogs about manifesting wealth & happiness and being positive but this is different. Looking forward to delving deeper!! 💙💙 Edit - You might want to adjust the playback settings to a slower speed. It may allow you think and absorb the rapid fire information a bit better.

I've never felt envy in a negative way. Like when I see someone driving a Ferrari I think, "damn, I want that car," and then admire the car and look at the person driving with a well done expression like telling them to enjoy on my behalf. I don't get people that are hateful towards others because of their achievements or possessions. Actions are much more important imo

Great summary!.. Many of these concepts are observable, relatable and revealing (such as comparing to others, envy, "shadow" [per Jung's archetype]. masks, narcissism, empathy, irrationality and group think). A few of these are not as obvious (such as "always" avoiding pain or change). The statement that humans automatically lose passion and power after age 60 is very subjective and limited.

i'm a sensitive person in general, i think subconsciously i firstly relate everything to myself in some type of way, although this was a toxic type on here, I think everyone is probably a little of one of those. Even so, I believe if you dedicate yourself to keeping yourself open minded instead of shutting down or closing off when your feelings get hurt, it can take you miles in all types of relationships.

People have different sides because they are highly complex and social animals. You are not wearing a mask nor role-playing, you are simply showing that side of you that is appropriate for the social situation you are currently engaged in -- for example, at work, on a date, with your best friend, with your family, or alone. There is not necessarily anything fake about this, nor are you necessarily hiding your real self. In fact, there is no real self independent of the various sides of your personality.

The one thing a leader/manager does that can destroy moral is to put up with subordinates that are unproductive, not punctual, toxic, needy, sensitive etc. It shows the good workers that the boss will put up with a bad employee and is too lazy or gutless to fix or remove the bad employee.

@@Scott-got-caughtSo this is what I say and bear witness to in the Lord, that you should no longer go on walking just as the nations also walk,+ in the futility of their minds.+ 18 They are in darkness mentally and alienated from the life that belongs to God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the insensitivity of their hearts. 19 Having gone past all moral sense, they gave themselves over to brazen conduct+ to practice every sort of uncleanness with greediness.+ 20 But you did not learn the Christ to be like this, 21 if, indeed, you heard him and were taught by means of him, just as truth is in Jesus. 22 You were taught to put away the old personality+ that conforms to your former course of conduct and that is being corrupted according to its deceptive desires.+ 23 And you should continue to be made new in your dominant mental attitude,+ 24 and should put on the new personality+ that was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty. 25 Therefore, now that you have put away deceit, each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,+ because we are members belonging to one another.+ 26 Be wrathful, but do not sin;+ do not let the sun set while you are still angry;+ 27 do not give the Devil an opportunity.+ 28 Let the one who steals steal no more;+ rather, let him do hard work, doing good work with his hands,+ so that he may have something to share with someone in need.+ 29 Let a rotten word not come out of your mouth,+ but only what is good for building up as the need may be, to impart what is beneficial to the hearers.+ 30 Also, do not be grieving God’s holy spirit,+ with which you have been sealed+ for a day of releasing by ransom.+ 31 Put away from yourselves every kind of malicious bitterness,+ anger, wrath, screaming, and abusive speech,+ as well as everything injurious.+ 32 But become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate,+ freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave you.+

I was surprised about how much of this you can really figure out on your own with just a little bit of rational honest reflection. I was constantly finding myself thinking “hey I came up with something similar” and then try to deny the reality of it again lol. Although that first half had a few in their that never even crossed my mind and some I’m pretty skeptical about. The envy one surprised me because I didn’t see any of the examples as someone being envious but you convinced me in the end. Personally idk about this business about trying to look for peoples true nature, I find no one has a true nature that should seen by others. It’s better to judge others on how the choose to act and not little signs that could mean a million things. To me a true judge of good character is in one’s ability to discipline themselves to NOT act on their nature and to behave as someone you can respect. Though I am pretty cynical towards the nature of humans, beings that can hold their child so tenderly and lovingly with the same hands that cut down an entire family in a neighboring village.

#9 , strategy 5, the law of defensiveness. That works when it works but what if they try for a while and end up failing. Then I've only supported the "supposed opinion" and made the situation. Would you please provide anther strategy should this back fire? Thank you for the video, I've watched it twice now back to back, probably watch it more.

Good content But I think if you think about it carefully, you're one them. No matter what you do where you come from you will have one of these behavior or more than one. Knowing yourself better then you will see that in ppl you're dealing with

Law# 18 The law of death denial The author is essentially right . Of course everyone's different and there are exceptions . I clearly understand that recognize and acknowledgement it. One way of putting it is I wish I knew then what I know now. Those all of you who are 30-years old or in the proximity of listen-up. Since I'm in the range of 60 I can relate to this. As said in the video people don't have much power and passion left to do the things they want to do. I wouldn't describe myself exactly like that. I want to add that obviously we are only a particular age once so you really or exactly don't know how it's going to be until you get there. I mention that because I'm relating to what the author is saying to some degree. Not much power to do some of the things that I did when I was 30 I realize I can't do it now or either it'd be very difficult for example I definitely wouldn't go skiing down Gun Barrel black diamond at Tahoe Squaw Valley. Passion left kind of sort of because whatever the goal how much time do I have to accomplish it will there be enough time to accomplish it and what if I don't accomplish it I suppose I'll know that if I have time to think about it when I'm dying and that's not definitely how I want to be a sudden death would be much better than rendering I've seen lingering is torture how long will I have to enjoy it if I am able to accomplish how much time will I have to enjoy it If you put yourself at age 30 or I put myself at age 30 these questions are not as relevant due to the amount of time theoretically we or you have on this Earth and of course everybody's different I totally realize that I clearly understand that there's individuals different walks of life working diligently into their 80s for example motivated completely the whole time again everybody's different but I'm just speaking in terms of an average or a neutral kind of line so to speak for lack of a better term. I'm going to add some things that have come to mind whether they've relay or not I think they do. When you get that 60 age or whatever you don't want to have regrets whatever they are ideally I suppose in reality it's impossible not to have address if you could help it or not it would be better have a small regret opposed to big one I specifically relate to this idea of regret or not because this year a situation came to light that when it occurred I wish that I knew this literally 30 years ago I swear it's 30 years had I known then what I know now I might have done something different. And that's not what I thought 30 years ago not at all I was committed and vested in the decision that I made. And not until now did I actually cause a plate consider maybe I should have done something completely different. I specifically I know for a fact it would have set me on a completely different path then the one that I chose again you don't know this until you're there. Thinking about this I would be honestly grateful if somebody we're able to somewhat understands what I'm trying to share. I have to stop and point out that relates to this and it's very important. I say this so truly. BE HERE NOW I repeat BE HERE NOW that's most important forget about the past we don't know what the future holds and I truly believe in The Power of Now BE HERE NOW If nothing else comes across as to what I'm sharing or writing about I pray that it is being in a present Is the one thing that benefits you from reading this comment. Another very important concept is happiness being happy and that's what it's all about we just wanna be happy I say so much of the time it sounds silly but in reality if you think about it everything we do regardless is to be happy and if you're happy I believe with all my heart that it doesn't get any better than that recognize this you've accomplished a lot in this life One more concept belief I'd like to share is being grateful it is very powerful there's a sentence The more you are grateful for what you have... ...the more you will have to be grateful for. Thanks for reading

So Andrea I will be happy to share this with you I actually just wrote it all out what I would have done different why specifically that encompasses a 30 year time frame. Personal debt in a public forum that's kind of stupid seriously or it's just not really wise. For your own sake and general I hope you know exactly what I'm talking about. Safety privacy increasingly is at risk. The only solution would be to private message you. Since we don't know each other I really have no idea if it's or how private it would be it's nothing this so revealing so I guess what am I worried about I wonder if I sound paranoid or something I do believe that there will be some aspect to it that will give some better understanding of divorce with children the parents have to deal with in divorce by self and then the added complications of when children are involved I have first-hand experience myself benefited me in the decisions I made ultimately just today ironically I watched a KZbin video called The laws human nature the last la# 18 was “the law of death denial“ detailing that between age 30 and 60 they're certain criteria that is taking place I'm in that 60 range so much changes from when you're in your 30s then in your 60s obviously but as I heard it really came flying home right in my face in because how this dynamic between 30 years 60 years old takes place in everybody's life it really couldn't be much closer to what I've dealt with and I specifically dealing with now the decision I made and didn't make in my 30s divorce and children to a small degree honestly it was upsetting it reminded me of what that could I could have made a I could make different decision further confirming what I already feel and that in reality it's a very pertinent situation that has definite relevant beyond my situation it really made me upset because I was frustrated I was verklempt you only get one chance as I said before and I'm reminding myself with this be here now Andrea let me know what you think pictures of what I'm saying or not But if nothing else becomes of this I honestly appreciate you asking that question cuz if you could benefit I'm grateful that someone was able to benefit yes benefits specifically I don't post that often although it always inevitably ends up being much longer than I intend that really is there a feedback or response raring that's why I'm going on and on about the mere fact that it got your attention I'm just going to start repeating myself so thank you Andrea as I keep saying Be here now I guess I'm just talking myself reminding myself thanking Andrea Kindest regards I can't spend anymore time editing but I feel ridiculous I just realized that this all originally involved around the video to begin with and I'm mentioning that I saw this video like this was something by itself I'm like oh oh yeah that's right that's really where all this came from why am I saying I was just feel like it was something gee whiz I'm tired of riding but I had to acknowledge that opposed to going what's what's the talking about just remember that's where it all started LOL The art of laughing at yourself right

I learned something about myself, thank you. Looks like I am close to a Savior type 7:50 Helpful, friendly, fulfilling favors, listening, giving them what they need in life, but always leaving the impressions that favors are to be returned someday. so thank you, I could never name this trait of mine.
