What a wonderful sale! I was feeling so bad for everyone with the heat. You and Penny persevered and found delightful treasures once again! You both got great cabinets too! Here is a tip for your hat display: just add a faux sunflower in the ribbon for fall, and others to match every season! It works for my hats. I'm a huge primitive fan! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cabinet. The shelves have more display room for larger objects and the double doors are the best! Love the color as well. PERFECTION!!! I love both cabinets, but when I saw Penny’s in the booth, I thought, “Oooh…I LOVE that cabinet!” 😄 This heat is miserable! I’m in South Mississippi and we’ve had 25 days (as of today) of over 100 degrees and it has felt like at least 110. 🥵 Glad you still managed to have a good time. I’m going to have to make it to that show one year. Fort Payne is one of my favorite places. We love to take little trips up that way when we can. Thanks for taking us along and sharing your day!

I met you at the spring event. I had planned to go to this show. When I saw when it was going to be and how hot it would be I decided to pass. I'll go back next spring. I'm waiting for my Dundee jar to come that I got from eBay. I don't know the size but it was $20 + shipping. I found one at the spring event for $39 and kick myself for not buying it.

It hit 110 in Dallas metro yesterday so empathize. You two found some great things and survived the heat and mosquitoes! I have my hats in my bedroom and leave them up all year because of the textures and colors. I like your cabinet…but you seem to like Aunt Penny’s better. Do you think if you painted your cabinet chippy white that it would make you like it as much as you like Aunt Penny’s?

Leave your hats hanging year round until you tire of them. The gray cabinet is Amazing... I decorate my garage with some of my treasures like a huge tobacco basket my FRIEND gave me YEARS AGO, it hangs on the back wall as I park my car, I have two old metal egg baskets hanging from the ceiling toward the side walls, a vintage set of four door metal lockers my Daughter gave me against the other side back wall a deeper inset of my garage. I have a corner cabinet to the left of my tobacco basket with my Great Grandfather's crock pitchers sitting on it with old garden tools that I remember as a child that he gave to my Mother... I love seeing it as I open the garage door each time and it is not CLUTTERED at All, because my Husband wouldn't let me. Life is Short so enjoy the beauty of Seeing your treasures inside and out... It is Good to have a large garage too...😢
