Jamming tower wouldn't stop any affects like that. If the card reads "If X has a tool attached/ (Tool name) attached" because they're still attached. Path affected damage output with mons that did so (like Scizor) because it said they had NO ability. Key difference is one saying they have no affect, the other saying they don't exist.

The reason you werr able to use your ability with tool jammer is because of brute bonnet, its ability. You just dont gain the extra 60 hp. This applies to all tools but im sure theres a few bugs

Nah, it’s the new Palafin that’s bugged. It’s getting fixed in this coming update. The game reads the card as an item not as a mon. Sometimes you’ll attach energy and it still can’t attack but has a free retreat cost
