@@icephoenix174 I think we like some of the same decks! I don't play meta decks myself. I play a zero energy Hisuian Arcanine deck myself. Do you use the energy switching card or the zero energy attacker?

@@TheBiggestDill I had a couple Harcanine decks but I think I always used 0 energy. I played it with rad Venusaur and a bunch of burnable items. I also had one with castform and squawk. Castform is my favorite Pokemon so I constantly tried to make it work 😂 I even played it in my Braixen deck where I would magma basin to it. And I loved Harcanine and Annihilape so I constantly used both decks even in a meta where the best decks resisted fighting. Edit: I just realized you meant Harcanine v 😂 nah I only used the zero energy one.

Friend of mine took 3rd place in his first Pokemon TCG locals tourney (out of 8 players) with a similar list, except he leaned more into Glimmora ex for the bench lockdown which really messed with a lot of people. I took 1st place with Iron Valiant ex/Xatu. We both beat out lost tina and Chien-pao decks.

FINALLY, someone mentioned Perilous Jungle, i have been waiting for so long i made a deck out of it with brute bonnet doing chip damage (radiant sneasler helping) while using roaring moon ex as main attacker

Lmao so funny you made this. I i made a deck recently with ancient roaring moon ex as a base. Threw in some other cards for assistance like hoopa and darkrai(works suprisingly well) and absol occasionally to mill if i brick starting hand. Thorton also works super well with this deck. Anyway, using poison field not only for roaring moon, but also for brute bonnet. Threw in radiant hisuian sneazler for another 20 dmg. So my poison will do 50 damage a turn. At that point opponent needs to decide to stop roaring moon building or stop poison. If i dont need darkrai energy i can use him to sleep opponent for extra turns of poison. Most matches ive played, the opponent will end up surrendering. Oh! Also threw in liepard to transfer roaring moon damage when he is low.

Was curious if you can do a Cloadsire Ex with the Perilous Jungle. Throw in a Memekyuu and you can poison from the bench in some cases

I have a nice glimmora deck that works, I use paldean student to help find bib and baby glimmora, I also use vengeful punch to make it more annoying to take out with the hero cape on the ex

I've been thinking a lot about a poison deck lately. I recently built Tsareena with Braviary but my first thought was Tsareena/Brute Bonnet focused around gusting 2-prizers. I can't remember what card it was but I think something was either in Temporal Forces or is coming out in a set this year that ties well with that that would make it so your Tsareena doesn't get poisoned by the Brute Bonnet.

Brute bonett with Tsraeena is cool, i did a vid on it before maybe it gets slightly better with Perilous Jungle so you dont have to rely in sneasler

If we're talking about poison decks - I like playing my deck : R Hisuian Sneasler, Brute Bonnet, Seviper and Klawf Only basic 1 prize pokes, good dmg from Sevi and Klawf (because of BB its very easy to play with poison) Possibly 50 dmg from poison 4 Atticus, 3 Arven, 2 Panic Mask (sometimes is very helpful) Double turbo energies ofc + many Devolutions (I hate this Charizard EX...so I'm very mean for every player who use it xDDDD) Main strategy : quick assault and offensive play from the start

I tried this deck and the main problems I found were jungle not working on dark Pokemon, mist Energy and ancient booster capsule, that's why i rather played Temple of Sinnoh and 3 Vacuums But maybe with the new format it'll be much better to play Jammer stadium and a couple of Giacomo or even Enhanced hammer

@BimDoesStuff miraidon hands is very effective vs gardy. gardy needs setup time miraidon has such set up speed with generators that they can easily take 4 prizes before gardy is rolling, and then it's too tough. with arvin catcher and stone they can mess gardy board fast taking 2 prizes a time. historic tournament results show miradon as a bad match for gardy. recent Japanese results show miraidon as the best weapon vs dragapult so gardy might struggle into he crossfire of that duel. since dragapult damage counter drop is also bad for gardy. unless it's getting some new stuff we haven't seen yet it might struggle it can be tech'd to get 50% or better win rates vs miradon but there's not much u can do vs dragapult. its tough to see gardy do really well without new stuff
