It’s the “Cuddle” and “Huggable“ factor, a hug from the inside out... I believe that is the endorphins that make being a reborn mommy so wonderfully therapeutic. Also love painting them and creating the bond that as an older empty nester helps fill a void.

I am glad you brought up this topic. When I started collecting my family thought I was crazy . It has not stopped me from collecting but it's very hard to describe to others the joy and happiness that these babies give us. I love your videos. My daughter is autistic and yes going anywhere was exhausting, but that didn't stop me from giving her all the experiences that I could. We left many a restaurant when she would have a meltdown. 😊Your silicone babies are amazing. It is very relaxing to watch you change them and you have a very soothing voice! Eleanor is just darling. My favorite however is baby Lynn. She is so real looking and absolutely beautiful.

You're right I've been a Doll collector have been since I was very young don't have any Reborns yet but my husband said when taxes come this year he's gonna get me one I so can't wait they are so adorable .

Hi Lynn - I love cruising but I’m the same way when I get off the boat I feel the motion but for most part it doesn't last long after a quick nap or sitting still for a while I'm back to normal. This was another great topic... As I too have always has a love for dolls and when I came across Reborns I fell I love with the art. Thanks for sharing ❤

You sound similar to me...lol 😘...I have always loved dolls (I remember being a 13 year old saving up to buy a porcelain baby doll for $120...that was so much money over 20 years ago...lol 😉). Aww, She is so precious!! I'm in love with her. Maybe one day in the future I will be able to save up for a silicone baby like her. They do take a little more care than the reborns do. I just love the 3 reborns that I have now and they do give me great comfort and joy. 💖🤗

Your baby looks so sweet. I like how her limbs don't jiggle when she is moved. I don't think that I will ever have a silicone baby. However I do have my beautiful Reborn vinyl babies. I enjoy dressing them for special occasions. ( Christmas, NewYears Eve/Day, Valentines Day, Canada Day, Halloween, Easter, Birthdays etc.) Hope you get your Land Legs back soon. My sister and I were in Mexico in March, however we flew there.

Hey!!. Lynn I love baby's too and ever since I was a little girl I would always clean and dress my baby doll up and baby doll prepares a female for motherhood when she grows up and people should not say or ask silly question to try to hurt your feelings anyways I am so glad that you enjoyed your trip and I am sorry about you getting sea sick my mom is the same way she gets sea sick and she could never do cruises much love to you and the family and see the next time around.

I know this is an older video, but wanted to add.. I wish i had found one of these sweet babies when my lill Justin Taylor passed over 30 year's ago. He was 24 hour's old. There is a syndrome called "Empty Arms" and i had that. I have a few dolls i collected over the years. I so want a reborn!! I'm educating myself on how to buy,and pick a sweet baby. Ofc i would love one who looked like my Justin. Thank you so much for awesome info!!

she looks soo stinkin' cute!!!! i've noticed the way you dress dolls differs...ie: baby Lynn compared to...just say Elanor. being a person who has one of your customs...as in, you painted him....you are wonderful bringing the vinyl to life. just had to write it so subbies and those who just see this know. more complements on him than any of my dolls!! this is my personal opinion and will hold to it.

I love Rompers, they are so cute, every one collects thing for a reason, I do not understand why people think it is strange to have dolls, do they think people who collect stamps, or what ever and no one thinks it is strange, I have always loved dolls, I love to hold my babies, I know it is not real, but I still get comfort from holding them, and they are beautiful and as you said a work of art., Elenor you look so pretty.How long will it take for your Ethan baby?

I begin to love reborn with my work I made embroideries and my shop was on the sun side of the street so it was a Nono to put something for more than one week cause it will change the colour so I buy corole collector doll and make crib and bed pillow and blanket and bags with drawing and name embroidery now I like realborn and keep all those dolls I like them but I am a little afraid of silicon hugs

I collect them because I had stillborn back in 1988 and never could get pregnant and it helps me to hold them and change them makes me fell like mom because I wanted 6 kids I in up with none so they are beautiful work of arts dolls I know there not real but they do feel real when you hold them I would love to have a full body silicone or a parcel silicone I never no wear to fine them that not to high
