Our visit took place in March 2020, fitting in one last overseas adventure before returning home to Australia for lockdown. Fingers crossed we can all travel again soon. In the meantime, be sure to check with your local government and the Tourism Authority of Thailand for up-to-date information on travel restrictions.

You can buy a luxury condo on top floor overlooking Pattaya beach for 35k. foreigners can buy condos but no land.

I lived in Hua Hin for one month in 2016. Then I lived in Bangkok for another five months while teaching English at a private school for one term. Fond memories. The food is amazing! I plan to visit again some day. Love it there. Your video is beautiful!

The best travel video I have seen on Thailand. Including the names of places in writing enables us to locate them on maps. Brilliant photography and sound, wonderful presenter, all beautiful to watch. Thai Tourism should support you for presenting Thailand so well. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

Little Grey Box I first came to Thailand in 1989 on my way to Europe. Spent a month doing a quick all over tour. Then two more visits of 4 months each, complete with Visa runs. I moved to Thailand 6 years ago and spend about 8 months of each year here then return to Australia to see my family. I trained as an Artist and was involved in Education with Photography and Media Studies in Australia. I spend 8 hours a day watching KZbin, partly due to the Corona Virus, I watch thousands of hours. I speak with some knowledge and experience. I watch KZbin on a 65” Samsung 4K TV, it was brilliant. It’s praise from an old Pro. I see I have many more of your videos to watch. My home is the Gold Coast QLD. 🇦🇺

From Huahin station, if you take the train down south to the next station, you could see the beach (for about 10 minutes) while riding on the train. I had taken an overnight train from Phatthaluung to Bangkok, and waking up to see the sunrise over the beach was really beautiful. Throughout the journey, I think this is the only spot you could have such view.

Wow, YES - would be an incredible place to retire! We often talk about moving to Thailand and how wonderful it would be. Hua Hin would be the perfect spot - a good mix of beach, things to see/do, beautiful scenery, great food and it's not too far from Bangkok. Hope you get to visit soon and scope it out!
