Do a public service and share Fred Levine’s videos to friends and family, especially for younger family members. I watched this back in the mid 90s on VHS. Great stuff.

All comments are correct and this is from the middle 1980's to middle 1990's. The Senco nail gun and the 14 inch Makita miter saw are from that time. I started framing in 1980.

Some of the viewers are idiots. Don't the realize how old this video is and that codes and standards change. I cant believe people are making comments about dusk masks, eye protection and houses being made of wood. Wood homes have outlasted many homes built with brick and mortar. I can't believe the ignorance in some of the comments. If you look at historic homes from the 1800s and 1900s made of wood they are still with us. I did notice the clap boards were not painted on the back and were not installed so that the water could run behind them.

Im a Mexican American whos worked with paisa mexicans and worked with white people aswell.. I learned how to work fast, nail properly, cut, drop walls, walk plates .. It doesnt matter what fucken race you are.. Have pride in your work, your job represents you. And real men will honer and respect eachother not hate.. Theres work for everyone out there go and get it like us mexicans. We work piece work, not by hours. We get paid by square foot. For 3 framers and split it.. If we take more than one day on a house then we lose profit.. And how do you think we get more work?? Your white owned companies love our work or we wouldnt keep getting hired on.. Doesnt mean a white man,a black man, asain or mexican.. Go get it...
