Pen Pal Letter Tutorial - Squash Book

Hello Lovelies! Today we are going to create a squash book pen pal letter. They are fun and easy to make. :) All you need are some basic supplies such as paper, glue, and anything you want to decorate your book with. The best thing of all, this book can be used as a mini album too. Yay!!! If you do make a mini album you can cut designer paper to fit each space for more decoration because you don*t have to worry about the weight/size because your not mailing it.

NOTE: Did you know can use more than 3 pages and in different sizes? hehe, you could make a monster book if you wanted to. :p

This is an adorable idea! I may try it out this week as I have a brand new pen pal! This would go great with a brief intro letter... I guess I could make it an intro... with different sections labeled Childhood, schooling/work, my family, hobbies, things I Love (LOVES), Dislikes, and mail Tag and Currently... thanks for sharing this ... WOW!! That was Awesome!! I've Never done anything like this before!! It looks like a lot of Fun to Create & not so complicated as a Pocket Letter (which I haven't made as of yet)!😬 Indon't have a diecut machine... So I'm afraid it would be kind of "nondescript!" +HISIAM888RUHIS888 Thank you so much! You should definitely try it out. :) Oh my goodness, don*t worry about your projects being nondescript just because you don*t have a diecut machine. There are endless ways to make your projects fun and personal with practically anything. A great place to find embellishments are magazines and fussy cut the images that catch your eye. You can also make your own templates for embellishments, I do that all the time. Don*t forget the most important thing of all...have fun! Hugs!-Meg

Hi Tia! You can absolutely use something like this. :) Some topics that I always talk to my pen pals about are movies and series. What I*m currently watching, what I think of it, movies I want to see, and why? If you enjoy cooking, tell them some things you made that week and send them the recipe for one of the dishes. Tell them something funny that happened that week, even if it something silly your pet did. Lol, for example my cat Gizmo is constantly taking my hair ties and puts them in her water bowl or hides them. I had to go and buy another pack the other day. :p I hope this helps you a little bit.
