Lyrics : She lives in the shadow of a lonely girl Voice so quiet you don't hear a word Always talking but she can't be heard You can see there if you catch her eye I know she's brave but it's trapped inside Scared to talk but she don't know why Wish I knew back then what I know now Wish I could somehow go back in time And maybe listen to my own advice I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful, everything she doesn't see You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out And know that right here, right now You can be beautiful, wonderful, anything you wanna be Little me Yeah, you gotta lotta time to act your age You can't write a book from a single page Hands on the clock only turn one way (yeah) Run too fast and you'll risk it all Can't be afraid to take a fall Felt so big but she looks so small Wish I knew back then what I know now Wish I could somehow go back in time And maybe listen to my own advice I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful, everything she doesn't see You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out And know that right here, right now You can be beautiful, wonderful, anything you wanna be Oh, little me Little me, yeah, yeah, hey I'll tell you one thing I would say to her I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful, everything she doesn't see You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out And know that right here, right now You can be beautiful, wonderful, anything you wanna be I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful, everything she doesn't see You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out And know that right here, right now You can be beautiful, wonderful, anything you wanna be (I'll tell you one thing I would say to her) I'd tell her to speak up, tell her to shout out Talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder Tell her she's beautiful, wonderful, everything she doesn't see You gotta speak up, you gotta shout out And know that right here, right now You can be beautiful, wonderful, anything you wanna be Little me

I want to dedicate this song to Jessica Nelson. Yep, Jesy. This song was a complete blessing to me when I first discovered it back in 2014, my 13-year-old me was so insecure and unsure about my future but every time I listened to that song I felt so empowered, and now six years later Jesy decides to leave the band because she wants to take care of herself and her mental health, I just wanna let her know, if she ever reads this message that YOU ARE NOT ALONE JESY. You and the girls helped me and now I wanna help you by dedicating this song to you. You are worth it, you are beautiful, you are talented and you are LOVED. I love you and I hope from the bottom of my heart you find yourself in a better place mentally and emotionally from now on. - A random Mixer.

When the girl says "A SINGER" and than the song starts to play, it also shows the significance that these girls wanted to become singers when they grow up as well. These girls went through so much in life and that's how they made it 9 years ahead of their beautiful success, to Little Mix, all these beautiful children and everyone else trying to follow your dreams, you should know 1 thing in mind: "DON'T EVER GIVE UP" keep going even if you fail for the hundredth time. This is life and that's how we all learn to grow stronger, I'm so proud of everyone trying to come up and all thanks to the girls for every single thing they've done for us💞

@@lambilyxmimi ok that's true you got a point, but the way I interpreted it was that in Little Me they're more focused on the motivational/inspirational side of the spectrum you know what I mean? I'd say that _"you gotta scream out, you gotta shout out"_ is more about them telling the listeners to be bold, to go after what they want and make themselves heard and ignore what anyone might say to bring you down. in women's world _"if u never shouted to be heard you ain't living in a woman's world"_ it's more focused on how there's doubles standards in our society/world and how as women are not taken as seriously as men in basically anything. But yes I agree with you, they're actually are the same thing now that I think about it, just from different perspectives :)

Jesy is the one who plays the victim too much and think only her problems matter. All Leigh did (and the other girls) was try to educate her on why her over tanning was harmful. Other than that, they didn’t say SHIT about her whereas Jesy always has them in her mouth even though she doesn’t want to be associated with them. You need to hold her accountable and stop making her the victim in this situation. There isn’t one bad thing any of the girls said to her, so fuck off.

Unicorns Rulee I'm sorry to like barge on something that seems private. But you can be the next Rosa Parks or MLK. You have to try to be like them ESPECIALLY in this time period. You have to educate yourself in the knowledge about your history and other people's to get an understanding of the world. This isn't the first or last time that something like this is happening. You don't have to start big movements like Ghandi but you do have to make yourself aware of the situations. A majority of the world won't help? Ok that's true but it's the MINORITY of the world who educates themselves in the world's wrong doings. Speaking up with knowledge of before and determination to fix the after can be the best thing to do at times like this. it's not hopeless. But if you just sit there and watch it happen thinking no one can do anything you are just as bad as the people causing it. Songs like this help you relaize how fucked up society is. It makes you take a few steps back and breathe. But knowing that you don't have to be a certain way to make you happy beautiful smart etc is key. Don't give up hope friend.
