Logical size for your terrain. I love that feeder trick to help keep them safe when moving the tractor. Very cool! Please give us a video when you do the butchering and processing of the birds.

Thank you! We will definitely video the butchering and try to edit out the most unsavory parts. But there will be a video!

Thanks for sharing how you built that chicken tractor. That is the type we are considering on building as well. So glad to see that your ducks are well. Keep up the great job! :)

Are you still satisfied with the tractors. This is exactly what I had in mind even thought about making one just for a few laying hens as well to rotate in the garden when needed
@LittleMountainLife

Yes they are still sturdy and strong but light enough to easily move.

We built a small "chicken tractor" for our small dogs to let them be outside during the parts of the day when we are not home and to keep them safe from predators like coyotes and bobcats. Then when we come home from work we let them out and take them back inside the house.

No because we have an electric fence around the perimeter of that area and our beagle is always around to scare off would be predators.

Normal rain is fine but I’d make sure the tractor isn’t in a low spot with standing water in especially bad storms.

@@LittleMountainLife exactly...animals that care for, protect and raise up their young, live in communities, or a primate are your only other examples. So would you raise up in a cage and eat a monkey, ape, or gorilla? Then why not eat dog, cat, horses or donkeys?
