@@garrettmetalman5008 sat with him in the 90s in Colorado. This is when Joe Preston was playing with them. He just talked to me like any other guy while we sat at the bar in the back. We talked about Alchemy Records, all kinds of horror stories for the band, etc. He signed an autograph for me on the ticket (red construction paper-like) that he signed King Buzzo is a pu$$y. Dale was shy, but came out with 7” flexis of the song Euthanasia. I stupidly sold that in the 2000s. I am pretty sure he had a plastic bracelet that spelled out fcuk you with those little plastic beads with letters on them. The Melvins are one of the most humble and under appreciated bands of their generation - hands down. When people would say the best drummers of the 90's were Lars Ulrich or Travis Barker I would laugh and think neither one of those guys could hold their own against Dale Crover in a drum battle but Dale's too modest to ever admit that. He's one of the last true drum gods but no one realizes it lol

Here here!! I certainly hope that kids follow this kid's initiative & figure out that most the crap they hear nowadayz is just that, & find out there is really great music out there, its just underground now! I know dads put on the Sabbath & Zepp & tell them, " this is how good it used to be!" Thatz great & all but they need to learn that there are bands that have takin that to the next level; Melvins, Neurosis, C.O.C., Earthless, just to name a couple, but I don't think that most parents are even hip enough to know about them, themselves! But I live my life believing in the pendulum factor, that its time will swing back around to rear its beautiful, monstrous head to the masses once again! Then at the same time I feel like, "Stay outta my scene Maaan!" Haaha, Buzz is the best & keep rockin you all!!

Saw them live in the early 90s twice and was not impressed. Buzz's attitude and arrogance was and is petty. He just wasn't that good. The only reason people even know who they are 25/30 years later is because it's well documented that Kurt idolized them early on. The blue guitar reminds me a whole lot of a Veleno I owned. Same two piece bolted design, early 70s gibson SG pickups (SG cause they had no shielding on them back then for SGs). One piece solid aluminum neck that was the closest thing to a butter knife you ever seen. It was super neck heavy. He tried to make it lighter by making it thinner (should have made it hollow) and I found it terrible to play. I ended up selling it for about 50 times as much as i spent for it many years before when i bought it as a beat up salvage oddity. Some times you win! I don't mean to say these guitars here have the same issues or are copying any thing. They look really nice in the actual details of being a guitar compared to the Veleno I had.
