When he's describing that a part of his awareness, not his upbringing, his name, etc. but the other part--he's describing ego death. And in fact, that consciousness is the awareness that hasn't been interpreted by the ego. When we process anything here on Earth, it's the ego telling us who we are and what we think. The ego takes the energy of the mind or soul or whatever you call it, and convinces you that it (the ego) IS who you are. But it's not. You're much more than your ego. I have some spectrum autism. I call that "out of yourself" place "The place of light and ideas". my f'd up brain can go there sometimes and there is no physical sensation or emotion. Ideas float through there like a kaleidoscope, sometimes busy, sometimes calm, sometimes dark, sometimes almost empty and pure white. No one else EVER has described something so close to whatever this is I experience. Good questions, amazingly good questions.

Let's see, the one I went to first where I met mike was I believe late 2017 maybe early 2018 and then 2019 was the last one I went to both were oregon in Eugene at the hall I've lived here my whole life in oregon so mike is a legend to me he was a really nice guy he showed me album art and early concept art for our raw heart before its realese and I talked with him for a while and then he just went off both shows were great but the 2019 one was better they played shit they haven't played in like 20 years
