You know I like to think the Life Mate, Hawke and Boot have this offscreen bromance, so hearing Hawke talk about marriage and kids I like to think was a whole “go getter alpha” moment. Shame to see him go but glad to listen to Hawke’s own adventures in the FBI. As for Lacie, hoo boy. Makes you wonder if we’re ever going to get an episode where the Mate confronts their parents on the whole kidnapping situation. Feels like they have a hard time seeing them as anything but misguided. Possibly also feeling imposter syndrome because Lacie’s other brother lived that life, and he doesn’t have a right anymore to be a son to those two.

READ AT YOUR OWN CAUTION: This episode turned out amazing, from talking about the other characters from Lyra to Cameron, diving into more of the story of the relationship between Lacie and the listener ((I honestly woulda thought it woulda been awkward af too)). Also, My Boi Hawke, I glad he is alive and all, I didn’t even think of the fact of Olivia woulda been scared to see Hawke due to all she did to him ((NOT ON PURPOSE MIND YOU)). She has been through so much, and I’m sure that it’s gonna get tougher from here once we get to court. ((ALSO JASON'S PAPA?!?! AYO?!)) I’m glad that Hawke is understanding about the situation and their friendship is still intact after everything that had happened. Hawke is a type-a friend we could all use in our life. I loved hearing about the broken tail from hawke, love how be says that’s payback LMAO Now, to wrap up this long speech, Hawke was an amazing addition to the Lycanverse, and it’s gonna be sad to see him go...though he is on to greater and bigger things! You know, the more I learn about lycanbeasts the more I understand human fear/prejudice against lycanbeast. Stronger, tougher, claws and stuff and going beserk every once in a while. I honestly see humans having fortified doors, extra locks and gun ownership being far more prevalent around the whole world simply not because “I’m better than you.” But because of “You can rip my front door of its hinges and beat, claw or maul me, without me being able to stop you.” That the inhibitor chip isn’t mandatory honestly surprises me.
