We've spent the last two months traveling up and down the coast from Tillamook, Oregon to Port Angeles, Washington. Before we begin our long journey to Florida, we figured we'd try for bull trout on last time.
Here is a bit of our day!

Great video Drew! Husband and I watched over morning coffee this Sunday morning. Shared it/liked it/commented.....hopefully it helps you. You are truly connected in your soul to what you do and it resonates loudly. We enjoy following your journey. Enjoy family over the winter!

Dood! I fish the lake for bulls every spring! They aren't colored up at that time of course, but still beautiful fish. Biggest I've caught was 25", but there are much bigger...

I came here to say I think they're beautiful fish when they aren't in their fall colors as well. I've been fly fishing for 2 years and haven't caught one yet, but my buddy caught a beautiful one a couple weeks ago.

I recognize the Metolius River here. Tough river to bank fish from with all the bankside shrubbery everywhere, unless you're wading far enough out for a decent back cast.

Why hot spot this river? Not trying to be rough, but that is in bad form. Our rivers/fish are getting hammered on by the interweb, please think about the resource.

I’ve had that conversation with a couple people about the sea run bulls/dollys from north Washington. I really don’t know. These guys in the video are reservoir fish though and are isolated from the ocean.

the metolious was once connected through deschutes to ocean like the landlocked sockeye that spawn there would go to ocean if allowed to the bull trout are also from stock that once had access to the ocean and same with the rainbows.@@DrewLR
