I love your lobes. But I really love your artwork. You do that so well. It’s always exactly what the pot needs.❤️🤗🐝

Oh, I am glad you liked that Kimberly!! Those bowls are some of my favorites. They are not just your ordinary round bowl but are so unique and they can be altered to be even more unique. have fun!

Great ideas Ann. One thought...for the straight-line challenged (like me!) a laser level is a fabulous tool. They're $10 - $15 on Amazon and work great as a throwing gauge as well. Thanks for all the how-to videos and ideas!

Oh my gosh Pat! That is a great idea. I think I have actually seen someone using one too....was it Old Forge Creations. I forgot all about that. Thanks for reminding me. Happy potting!

@@annruel1982 I wish I could take credit, but I got the idea from Old Forge Creations as well. It works great, is versatile, and less expensive than a commercial throwing gauge...and it doesn't get in the way!

@@patspotpage Thanks at. I just forgot all about that, but now that you reminded me, I will have to get one and try it out I do a lot of dividing the pottery

I so enjoyed this video Anne, l have been away from pottery for about two years due to a bad rotator cuff, then a failed surgery. This just made-me long to get back to my wheel! Wonderful tutorial , exceedingly good.

This couldn't have come at a more apt time. This week I was trying to make bundt pans and lobes is what makes it a bundt pan but I was not having very good luck with them. This will help a lot, thanks.

Great minds think a like Vicki, haha. I hope that helps a little. Just remember that if you are going to stretch out the clay for the lobes, keep the clay a little thicker than you normally would throw it, right. Good luck!

Your pottery is amazing, absolutely love it. I see that your designs are not glazed with the clear glaze? Do you varnished them? Do you use wax resistance for the designs and the clear glaze?
@LittleStreetPottery Жыл бұрын
No varnish - watch my underglaze painting 101 video kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIvQlaSEjrKFZ7c (and I offer great video workshops as well - link in description) that will help understand my glazing strategy. Thanks!
