Michel, I've compared these knobbers to people who have studied karate for 5 months and earned their yellow belt. If the viking then opened a dojo with himself as instructor who would join? It's the same as the Viking giving advice about something he knows fuck all about. 5 months of joining, going through interviews and then BASIC training does not make you a legionnaire and it certainly does not give you the right to give advice.

I went to Marseille Aubagne last Week, when i was there, i had not the Courage to go in. The long lonely journey gives me to much Time, to think about it. Also the "Problem" that i had to much People at Home, who don´t supported my choice. It´s a big different to think "I go for 5 Years and join" than really doing it and be completely alone and away from everything. The thing isn´t over for me..., for sure. But if You go, be more than sure and from the first Step You do in the direction of the Legion, let everything behind. All thoughts that can hold You back.

Just for anyone, who think it’s easy to get in and Legion needs people badly - it’s not true, they cut down numbers and have more than enough applicants. I went to enlist in autumn of 2000. I did prepare for six month(running, swimming, working out). Some of the things this guy was saying are matching my experience, but some don’t. Anyway it’s been 20 years. Definitely prepare before you go, and have good running shoes, legion would provide if you don’t, but quality will be poor, have rubber slippers for shower, you won’t be given any and you’ll have to stay in line waiting for your turn to take shower and it will be cold. Bon chance ✌🏻

You went, you tried, it was not for you, good for you as most are too afraid to even turn up. Unfortunately Miguel, nowadays you can ask to go at the end of basic training. This is not a good thing because it draws wasters like the Viking to the legion. In his case he was kicked out of the Canadian army. He was not up to the rigors required to be a legionnaire. So he went crying to his chef de section and begged to leave. He then decided to try and justify not making the grade by doing crappy KZbin videos. A right royal waster.

Once someone gets into the legion. And is an official legionair. During off time. When theyve completed with their day and a Legionair is at his barracks. What is a Legionairs barracks rooms like. What are his privaleges in his room. Can he buy his own food, make his own food. Does he live in a giant room with all the other Legionairs, does a Legionair get his own room, does he share a barrack apartment with a roomate or have 2 rooms to a apartment for the barrack. Can a legionair play video games or own video games. Can a Legionair buy a computer? As USA military gets 2 days off every week Does a Legionair get 2 days off every week. Besides event times like training in Africa or South America. Does a Legionair get days off every week. And is a Legionair free to do what they want legally on their day off, go to the movies, get a drink, go to a restaurant. And once someone is in the Legion what does a Legionairs day consist of besides when he is in battle or doing extreme training exercises. On a normal Physical training day what can a legionar do with his free time on the barracks.

@Littlest.Viking7 жыл бұрын
1A. Glasses will be seen as a liability, it will not however completely bar you entry, especially if you are a fit candidate in all other areas. 2A. Yes, 7 will be enough to pass the Luc Legere. You will run many, many kilometers, i was extremely unprepared for the amount of running, and not just that, the terrain in which you will run on. I survived, not without much teeth-grinding and a constant flow of obscenities from my mouth though. It will just be a little harder if you cant keep up. I personally scored 13 pullups and 9 on the Luc Legere.

I can tell you it's not easy to join the Canadian Armed Forces they are really picky now days. You can join with a grad 10 but the aptitude test math is grade 12.. and even then you can't have any fed charges. And the Canadian Armed Forces pretty cool but the French Foreign Legion is badass they were just on the cover of spec ops magazine and they are pretty much Special Forces. If you actually become a legionnaire you're one of the elite

@zakalon1237 жыл бұрын
Reza you are out of the loop. The FFL hasn't taken anyone with a serious criminal record for years now since the late eighties. You can't join the legion if you have a bad criminal record. They overlook petty crimes but not major ones. With so many applicants they can afford to be super choosy on who they take. And NEVER LIE to them as they have an amazing intelligence network. They will expose your lies and they will definitely not take you on.
@mmarsh19727 жыл бұрын
Zakalon is 100% correct. Petty offenses are forgiven (unless they are drug related, sorry no druggies in the Legion) but not only are serious offenses not forgiven they WILL make it a point to call Interpol if you have any outstanding arrest warrants (and they do check). So if you are fleeing justice, do not think the legion will offer you refuge.
@mmarsh19726 жыл бұрын
Actually that is not true anymore, the Legion is highly selective. Only 1 out 7 applicants gets his kepi...I seriously doubt the British Army is that selective.
