Genius! I was curious on the build...I didn't think those traditional tea-cup lights were small enough for your scale of gaming. Thank you for sharing.

Great guide, I'd dab on a bit of solder to make the joints permanent, but it's not a necessity. Much better value than £10 for a strip for commercial offerings.

How long a strong of these could you make? Could it be extended to cover the front of a 30cm long unit firing a volley?

I’d maybe make multiple and place them next to each other

Hi, how did you get the LEDs to flash sequentially? Were they flashing at different frequencies? I've used 1.5 Hz yellow LEDs, and they all flash together. Unfortunately, the link you gave for the LEDs is dead, so I can't see what you bought. Thanks

@@ThePaulferris1964 oof, really wanted to try this out. Might just wing it. Luckily if it goes wrong and they all light up at once it’ll still work since I’m using it for a line battle game (black powder acw).

Is this cheaper than just getting them from Warlord, and whooo, the first little wars person with the correct appreciation of real scotch. :}
@LittleWarsTV5 жыл бұрын
Scott Mellon It looks like one strip of Warlord lights (which has 6 flashing bulbs) costs $16. Each marker here (with three bulbs) cost under $2 to make, so yes, these are much cheaper.

Love the butterscotch joke! I agree. Too much of your precious time is wasted on your scotch videos. We only get about 10-12 videos a season. They should ALL have to do with gaming. You guys don't know how important to us you are, in the KZbin wargaming community.
@LittleWarsTV5 жыл бұрын
Steve gets all the credit for that excellent gag. He is not a Scotch fan! But since only 4 of our 120+ videos are Scotch tastings, hopefully we are allocating our time appropriately!
@elconfederado695 жыл бұрын
@@LittleWarsTV I like the Scotch videos even though I much prefer Bourbon. I personally would love to see a Bourbon tasting, tastefully paired with a WW2 or WW1 naval battle.
