I'm curious, exactly what would be considered hype that Corrin could do. She used to be my Smash 4 main, and I'm still wondering. Her dair doesn't really kill even used offstage, DFS isn't exactly hype unless your enemy is a moron and lands in the full one, the only one that works that is hype is pin cancel read with a smash attack, which only works in specific setups.

@@Endershock1678 I think that universal hype moves/kill options are a rare trait in the world of Smash Bros, and really can honestly depend on situation and player as much as the moves uses themselves. But if there was a universal one for Corrin, maybe it might be reads with Dragon Ascent as a hail mary off the side. Spin attack, Falcon Dive, Dark Dive, Sword of the Creator (referring respectively to any of the Links/Mii Swordfighter, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, and Byleth)- all of them are fairly hype options (unless you are mii swordfighter and do nothing but fish for Gale Strike into Hero Spin onstage), so I see no reason why that can't be hype.

@@mtoi7341 I'd still argue with Corrin, as somebody who used to main her in 4 and mains her now, it's not to say she can't be hyped, but it takes a really fast paced player throwing out more risky options than not to be "hype". Dragon Descent is... well it's difficult, because for some reason, that move doesn't really spike, it just kinda pushes them downwards and a lot of the cast can recover from it, so I've thrown games going for it even if it hit. I've only really fought a hype Corrin once, and it was when I was playing Bowser at the very tip top of Elite (like I'm talking win or lose, neither me nor Corrin were losing GSP), where I was getting super combo'd in ways I didn't realize could combo into absurd kill setups, but 1) I was playing Bowser, and 2) it's not something that should be expected from 99% of Corrin players, and at that point, I think it's fair to say the character is pretty lame. I main ROB, I've accepted that while some players are hype with him (Zackray, Radio, WaDi, etc), he's not a character that could be considered hype thanks to 99% of players.

video idea: smash guess who like regular guess who but with smash characters. If both of you guess incorrectly you have to play a 1v1 as the character you guessed. Winner of the 1v1 gets to ask their question and guess first, if the player who asked first gets it right the other player may not ask a question, however they can make a guess to tie. you can keep track of who you dont think it is using any ironman tracker website easily. (i would link one but i wrote an in depth comment abt this for like 20 mins with the link and youtube yeeted my commment out a window) you get one question and one guess every turn (aside from rule stated previously)

Little Z was previously ranked #2 in Western Australia in Sm4sh, and you think there are 5 million (i.e. 20%) players better than him in the world at SSBU? In fact, given that the top 1% would be the best 250,000 players, I think he might be better than 1%. No way there are a quarter of a million better players than him in the world, when he has taken a couple of games off Leon OFFLINE. FInally, it is currently believed that Elite Smash is roughly the top 2.5% of online players, and Little Z got EVERY character into Elite Smash.

@@Jackaljkljkl When I said 20%, I was more so referring to only people who actually play Smash a decent amount. Not people who just play the game occasionally. When it comes to every single player who has ever picked up the game, then yeah, Little Z probably is in the top 1-2%. But let's be real, Little Z isn't that good. I mean Poppt1 constantly one-ups him in basically every match they play and Poppt1 loses daily to random Elite Smashers. It's also more superficial because Australia's online servers don't contain as many players as America, where the competition online is even more intense (at least the way I see it). I suppose considering top 1% in the world as 'not amazing' is a pretty unreasonable statement for me to make, but considering that Little Z is basically never painted as a really good player in his own videos (unless it's for the comedic effect), it's pretty safe to say that he's not that great. Also, I will say that being a top player in Sm4sh for Little Z is far in the past. The entire community raised the skill floor of the game to much higher than back then after Ultimate's competitive scene really took off. I will say that taking games off of Leon is impressive, but he also completely lost to multiple other top players without even a single game taken, so it kind of says something about his ability to continue being good or that he's just good at facing certain characters over others. It also doesn't take a genius to see that Little Z makes some pretty questionable plays in his games. He goes for some really dumb stuff at times and that often leads to his loss. Even if he's playing with the intention of winning, he just SDs quite a bit. To end it off, I don't think anyone even watches Little Z to see him be good at the game. He's a comedian and that's his biggest appeal because it differs him from the top players who just play good, but aren't as entertaining imo. Although that being said, this video is pretty much as I said, Little Z pretends he's good enough to do an Iron Man Challenge successfully. Frankly, I'd want to see him try to do an Iron Man legitimately, but that's just me.
