im a 2005 kid too! im japanese and korean, and the japanese zoobles were also released in korea as well! zoobles were my favourite toy and i collected both the jp/kr ones and the american ones (i still have them and keep some of my faves displayed in my room ^^) i dont usually comment on videos but i recently found your channel and love the videos! i love revisiting nostalgic memories!!

I just learned about the existence of zoobles and as someone who has always loved the idea of cute little pets (lps, tamagotchi, pokemon) it's a shame i didn't know about them cuz i definitely would have liked them as a kid. The japanese/korean zoobles especially are soo cute with their character designs and concept and sweets theme i would have been OBSESSED.

Fun fact about Zoobles, there was a TV series based on the SEGA Toys adaptation by Dong Woo Production that lasted for 26 episodes. The series first aired in South Korea in 2011 and then Japan in 2012. The Zoobles are first born in the Candy Factory and beyond said factory, lies the magical world called CandyLand where all of the Zoobles live. Each Zooble living in CandyLand represent a different flavor. The three main Zoobles of the show are Chevy, a tomboyish, orange flavored Cat Zooble and the main leader of her friend group, Coron, a kind-hearted, strawberry milk flavored Rabbit Zooble that likes to give milk to Zoobles in need from a pink candy bag she always carries around, and Panky, a shy blueberry yogurt flavored Panda Zooble who has a difficult time catching up with both Chevy and Coron. The series mostly focuses on the three living in CandyLand learning how to solve problems through their misadventures. As a 2005 kid, I ADORED yoohoos. I think I had like 3 or 4, my favourites being a bush baby like bride and groom. I also think I had keychains, they may of been the keychains I got in McDonald happy meals. And zoobles were so fun although I swear you just like pressed a button or something to open them up and had to like physically close them, like there was no habitat with mine, maybe the uk had different ones or some just didn’t come with them. Also did they have a baby play set as I swear I only had two and one had a mini version of it . I randomly remembered them last year and had to stop myself from buying some.

Zoobles had a tv show as well which was originally korean and then in japanese, but its a lost media show!! Vol2 of the show is exclusively in japanese online from what I can tell, and vol1 isnt online at all!! And the zoobles toys themselves go for a lpt of money, as in 13 of them from happy meals are going for 60$, it also has a nds game that I used to play and it only goes for I think 30-40$

yes with the shoulder buddies I have a very specific memory of going to a family photoshoot while I was on holiday, and I was OBSESSED with my shoulder buddy. it took lots of convincing to get me to take him off for the photo. I also remember losing the little coin thing and being devastated but my dad was a real g and got a washer for me to use instead since it was still magnetic. thanks dad lol

Me and my sister each had one yoohoo plush at one point. i had no idea there was a show for these. I ended up collecting beanie boos when they came out but only because i had the og beanies my whole life but they werent really making the old ones anymore. i would absolutely love to see a yoohoo video personally. I have hundreds of beanie boos in my attic from years of collecting, but it was yoohoos that made me fall in love with them. If you look a bit, there is a channel publishing the original korean yoohoo animation! personally, i grew up and loved the korean version a lot better because the american version is filled with gags i find really strange, the art style is just weird, the voice acting is hard to sit through if im being honest, and overall just the entire thing is just "oh god" moment. I'm aware it was supposed to appeal to an entirely different audience though, but eh... I have to admit though, the storyline is more creative, i agree. but entire thing itself is like one of those weird series you would find on nick like from years ago. anyways besides my rambling i'd really like to see it, and love your channel :D i just stumbled accross it and clicked because you talk about all the toys i had collected for long periods of time. ive been collecting toys for idek how long, but you deliver your videos really well and theyre so entertaining to me!
