A Muslim tradition. Some claim that Islam was a product of the Roman Catholic Church

Problems with your hypothesis: 1. Dancing was not part of the Western or Eastern Catholic liturgies from the first century up to the Council of Trent. 2. Catholic Christians and Muslims have been at odds ever since the heresy of Islam showed up. 3. Any dancing in the liturgy outside of preserving cultural customs of newly evangelized societies, even in the Ordinary Form of the mass propagated after the 1960s, is a liturgical abuse and goes against the official guidelines for the liturgy. 4. Roman Catholic is an inaccurate slur used by Protestants. The correct term is Catholic, with various subdivisions based on cultural expression. The predominant Western expression is the Latin Rite. The Catholic Church is far bigger than just the “Roman,” or Latin expression. To name a few other expressions, you have the Byzantine, Coptic, and Syriac rites, and even more than that.

@@juice2307meh, when Rome broke off, it started referring to itself as the “Holy Roman Church” so Roman Catholic is an accurate term, even the Uniates under rome can be classed as Roman Catholic (uniates) because they are all under submission to the Pope and his theology (theology of rome, dogma and doctrines of Rome) but it’s all lip service to that. Roman Catholic can be used as a slur, but mostly it is romanist. Roman Catholic is the standard and accurate term. Catholic means whole and universal in terms of the one Faith, in the Roman Catholic church there’s isn’t one faith, because eastern catholics (byzantine catholics) for example say the creed without the Filioque. The early church absolutely saw it necessary that all Churches part of the Catholic Church confessed the same creed.
