Really, really lucky round our bit of Mid-Norfolk. I think every farmer, his family, their friends, and most of the nation's contractors turned up en masse one night. There was an astonishing amount of co-ordination going on, and the road outside my window (normally chocca) was wall-to-wall machinery. Three days later they done the lot, harvest, fieldwork, everything. They made a good haul of it, too, despite the dreary year we've had.

Combine harvester is my favourite farm machinery since my childhood. I used to get so happy when it stayed over our farm. I still love it and feel happy when i see one. I see them every summer on my way to work to liverpool along the A580 or M62.

Hi Olly You seem a lot less stressed today which is a really good thing. Think the tracks on the combine have saved the day mate. This is why we should support our farmers ( like other countries around the world). We have a very high standard, so when buying food look to see if it’s British. This could help not only the farmers but you to. The biggest proof was the milk 🥛 industry.

Was out on a new Trion 730 montana yesterday, peaked at 5ton / hectare (If i remember correct!). Doing pretty well, with moisture at 10.5%, considering all the rain it was remarkable. Did keep skidding down the slopes though!

75% today another great video good to here you sounding brighter despite the rubbish weather,you would think grass would be growing well in the mild wet conditions but it is not hardly growing at all we all need to warm sunny weather for different reasons. Although the OSR harvest looks like it's rubbish for you at least the waste can be used as boil mass fuel = economic value. So glad the combine works so well in your flooded fields. your skills at maneuvering are very much on show !

Congratulations on all you do. You have my admiration. However, your workers would make fewer stupid errors if they slowed down 5%. Jobs would take no longer because there would be less down time. Also save the repair costs. Their mistakes fall back on you and ruin your life. I speak with 50 years of experience on a farm, where shear bolts were a challenge rather than a safety feature.
