Obviously Moriyasu’s strategy of starting the best players on the bench is an awful idea. Tomiyasu & mitoma are probably the two best players on that team. Tomiyasu started a game once, mitoma none. Also he left kyogo and Hatate at home, both of whom deserved a call up. You’ve probably never heard of them either, just like everyone else praising the manager

I am Japanese. It was a disappointing defeat for me. But I want Croatia to beat Brazil. The Croatian goalkeeper showed a saving ability like the legend Pletikosa. Very great.

It was Subašić who saved penalties on two occasions against Denmark and Russia last World Cup in 2018, Pletikosa last world cup was in Brazil 2014 and he wasn't involved in any wc shootouts because we didn't pass group stage at world cup since 1998 until 2018. Congratulations Japan, big achievements beating Germany and Spain, in other case i would be rooting for you against some other european team and you played well, not allowing us creating our game in midfield and constantly guarding our players.
