LIVE #2: Zao - Getting another record

So today on LIVE I decided to play the Zao, I also got a new mic so that's needed some testing as well :D I got 2 amazing games, I did play a lot of games, but I kept messing up my audio. I hope you enjoy the games!

Great vid!! For a long time, I automatically dismissed Zao as unthreatening- mostly because bots were always Zaos back in the early days of the game, and honestly not a lot of people played it back then. Even now, if I see a Zao with a human captain, it usually elicits an "oh wow" from me LOL...

With a team or solo, i will watch your content anyway haha.To be honest I think playing in a team (after recent updates) mm tries to match you against another division it makes games more dynamic and competitive! Specially in peak hours.

I finally got the Zao after a long grind, and so glad I stayed on it. The ship is so much fun I had to save for the historical camo! Had a few good games with nice numbers, best yet is 137k 😊

Where’s the evidence that being broadside makes it harder for dive bombers? Its only ever been explained as being rng for likelihood of bombs hitting.

With the dispersion stats of the DB groups, it does help by making your ship as thin as possible.

I’ve only ever seen it being RNG based, there’s never been any evidence to suggest it’s anything but that. I understand the theory, but I don’t think it applies in Blitz. Until someone does some thorough testing, I don’t think the assumption can be made, plus, being broadside in these scenarios makes you extremely likely to take more torpedoes than being a slim target, so to me it wouldn’t be worth it even if it is possible

@@Oshawott5 I definitely understand you. I don't have any proof like you said. For me personally I have found it works, so I will keep trying to see results. You are absolutely right going full broadside is risky.
