The UVO ap on the EX premium, allows you to remote start. Very nice in a Canadian winter.

Yes, that's probably the key feature to the UVO app which is now called Kia Connect.

@@BrantfordKia I see the 2022 Forte EX premium also has a remote start button on the key fob but that seems a bit redundant if you can do it from your phone anyway. I’m trying to decide between a 2021 and a 2022 EX premium but the $2600 price difference seems like a big incentive to stick with the 2021 with 7 yr 0% financing. The changes all seem cosmetic apart from a minor tweak to the rear cross alert/assist?

@@ORBEX It's not a substantial update, but it is an update. As far as the key fob vs. the app, the key fob is MUCH more convenient as it reacts instantly. The app has a lot of features, but there is a large delay from entering your request on your phone to having it react on the vehicle.

I wonder about the cvt. I have a 2021 gt line and don't have problems because I mindful of the fact it's not a traditional automatic transmission but cvts don't have the best reputation.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that all of our cars have heated mirrors. You can turn them on by turning on the rear window defroster.

If it has an 8" screen, it will be wireless Android Auto and Wireless Apple CarPlay for 2022.

​@@GardoVersace I believe the 2021 Kia Forte was our last model not to receive the wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay update. So that's correct, these are still wired. Our 10.25 inch screens are also still wired at this point.

@@GardoVersace The 2022 Kia Forte has been introduced to us on paper, but we haven't seen one yet. My initial specs don't list "wireless" in their listing, but I would be SHOCKED if it doesn't have that... every other 2022 model that we sell (other than the Sportage which is due for a redesign by January) has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Forte will also be receiving a refresh with new bumpers and lights, and new tech inside. It's my belief that they'll call it the K3, so keep an eye out for that.
