I have this and I HIGHLY suggest it! Mines white with a plum purple leather interior on the inside! It’s super easy to drive, really nice to park and the sensors aren’t an annoying high pitch sound! It’s $35 to fill up from E and I usually only have to fill it up once every 2-3 weeks! HIGHLY SUGGEST!

Once again great video. I recommend to anyone, GO FOR THE SX! Some of the features I didn’t think I’d use I end up using every day. And yes the lighting was a very nice post-purchase surprise (test drives were all during the day). I would add the WIDTH of the light beam is phenomenal- a little-mentioned safety feature. Because it catches wildlife eyes up to 500 meters off the road at a 45 degree angle. NO projector beam can give you that! I’ll say it again: GO FOR THE SX!

Yeah, the EX Premium and the SX offer a lot of features, that, if you can stretch for them, are features that I don't think you'll regret. If those models are out of someone's price range, I still think that the Seltos is a great bargain compared to it's competitors. Thanks for sharing!

I got this exact car and have had it for a year now and love it! The Bose sound system has a lot of bass too, plus I drive in sport mode all the time, once you drive in sport mode you will never want to use smart or normal mode ever again

Salespeople around the world are keeping me employed! Nothing I talk about is something that they can't figure out. I'd love it if salespeople of all makes would step up their game to take care of customers better. To me, if you're spending $30,000 on something, you should know EXACTLY what you're getting, and you should know how to use it if you choose to learn that. Cars aren't cheap. There are too many people who are dissatisfied with their cars, for the sole reason that they don't understand how they work, or what they can do. That's a shame.

G'day Peter from Melbourne. Love you videos, terrific information. I'm at the stage of updating my Hyundai i30 SR and my top choice at present is the Seltos GT (SX in Canada). There is a 6 to 8 month wait for new cars (there are very few Seltos of any trim available and I'm after the Neptune Blue). Is it worth going for the 2022 or the 2021 when available? There isn't really a lot of changes between those model years here in Canada. The 2022 will have the new logo, and there are some minor software tweaks, but nothing that I think would sway you one way or the other. It's tough for me to decide for other people, but in the specific case that you're asking about, I would say it probably doesn't matter which year you get, unless you really prefer one logo over the other.

The only thing is, I wish it had a 360 camera for the price I would think they would add it especially since it's the highest trim level, but I won't make a big deal out of it since their are a lot of pros I see and only 1 con being the 360 camera. Yeah, this is a great vehicle! I don't see them adding that 360 camera anytime soon. I have it on my car, and it's definitely nice, I'm not sure why we never got it on our car. Maybe they thought it would add too much cost to be price competitive in the segment.

Am I downgrading if I go from a Ford Explorer to this car? I love the room in my Explorer but I'm really excited about all the plusses this car has. The one thing I'm going to miss is the remote trunk release. Is it that a deal breaker? I'm so conflicted. On your model with the 10.25" screen, it is wired only, but on the 8" screens it is wireless. I've submitted several questions related to this to Kia Canada's head office, and I'm waiting for a response. This is the most popular question that I get asked, so if I learn more, I'll let you know. At this point, you have to assume that it won't ever be upgradable to wireless, but there are rumours that it may be in the future. If there's any news either way, I'll be making a video.

I'm not sure what they use to hold things together. We don't have an issue with them breaking or having any issues unless there has been some sort of significant impact. I'm not sure if that helps or not.

Yes, it's coming to Canada. My best guess is that we'll begin to see them in volume in March of 2022. That's a pretty educated guess, but things could change.

Two-tone would be cool, but the reason that we don't have that in Canada is that Seltos models with sunroofs cannot be produced with a different colour top. The factory isn't equipped like that. Most of our models have the sunroof, so we don't get the contrasting roof colour.

The Nightfall on the Seltos is U.S. only, so I don't have official information on that. We film in Canada, so I can confirm every detail of our SX, but not every detail of the Seltos Nightfall. You may want to check with your local dealer to have the most accurate answer.

Even my wife and myself, who have an identical family, and live in the same house, same life situation... a car that is better for me, isn't the one that's better for her. So the best thing to do is to drive them both, and you'll usually know which one is better for you.

So Peter first I live in western Canada. Now I remember you saying that you were going to do a night video on one of these but I looked tonight and can’t find one. As someone who recently took delivery of a 2022 Seltos SX that I ordered in the summer I can say for the benefit of your viewers that you really should show them the SX at night right from the cars greeting, the amazing interior lights, the light show the stereo puts on, the tail light and headlights and signal lights. Kia has been doing a great job with the lights on their vehicles giving each of them their own personalities. One last note to Kia Canada, you should be paying these guys because I guarantee that dealership all over the country are selling more cars because of the work they are doing.

I do plan to do a number of "at night" videos, but we haven't had many SX vehicles in stock lately, and in the summer, with the shorter days, it's not always easy to try to get these done. I think KIA /Hyundai need to work on their fuel efficiency and to make more models available with hybrid, including the Seltos. The upcoming Niro will probably be much more expensive than the Seltos. (A current Soul owner.)

Yeah, we have ventilated seats up front, and heated seats in the rear. We also have a Heads-Up Display. There may be other minor differences, but those are the big ones.

I don't think so. It doesn't really need one, it's not a powered tailgate, so you just have to touch the touchpad on the handle, and raise it from there.

Yeah, if you're in the U.S. the Seltos has a few things like ventilated seats and Head's Up Display that are available in Canada but not the U.S.

@@armantahaboor7142 Uh oh! Looks like I may be confused. Generally speaking, what I show, is what is factual if that overrules what I say. This is the issue with live videos, it's tough to be completely accurate over several models on two brands on every detail. The only thing that has me confused is that sometimes they update things for the model year, and it's not always obvious to us on the sales floor. If you check our videos, what you see should be accurate. Having said that, when you select a model, I'll make sure that Gabi and I confirm that you're getting what you want. Hopefully that helps!

No, the Seltos doesn’t have power folding mirrors (it does have power adjustable mirrors) and the sunroof is the traditional size, not a panoramic roof.
