This case is sold here in my country in Asia too. There's a couple of brands but the shape and features are the same. I'm pretty sure there's a bigger version for ATX boards too, but I think they haven't changed the 2-slot GPU thing so it's very disappointing. You'd think a wind-tunnel like shape would make this case very cool on a temperature standpoint as long as the fans are good, but it's more bling than actual functionality structure-wise IMO which is very disappointing. They could've just done a good mesh on the front and had 4x120mm fan mounts there for ventilation power.
@sethb16892 жыл бұрын
I had one case with a 200mm fan on top, i think it was a coolermaster case. Was my first full pc build, i turned it on the first time after building it and the blades hit the fan housing and several of the blades exploded into a bunch of pieces instantly before my finger even left the power button. That was like 12 or so years ago, since then i have steered clear of 200mm fans and coolermaster entirely.

@@JesusSerranoFireandIce Well... I completed my Hyte Revolt 3 build; itwas the EASIEST ITX build I have have ever done!! I've build in the Lian Li TU-150 twice and the Cooler Master NR200 once, but neither come close in terms of ease of installation and cable management. I used my own Silverstone SX700 LPT PSU and I needed ZERO extensions. The "top down" Noctua NH-C14S fit with no probs at all. Instead of mounting a 140mm fan on top of the cooler, I mounted two (2) 140mm fans on the hinged door. The bottom fan is located above the cooler. On the underside of the cooler I placed a pressure optimized 120mm fan. All of these fans are exhausting air; so it really a "bottom up" setup. 😁 Anyways, I'm supremely pleased!

I did a build in this case last summer for my grandnephew! I got the case as a Newegg Shell Shocker for $108.99 with a $10 gift card. It turned out much better than yours. I did push pull water cooling with two 240 AIO coolers stacked in the middle with top exhaust. I used a 2080 Ti Kingpin Hydro with an Intel 10850 CPU/Corsair AIO and both the thermals and sound levels were great! I stress tested it using F@H with both CPU and GPU max loads. A LOT OF HEAT POURED OUT THE TOP but component temps were very reasonable. I also added some fan ring lights to the top and magnetic LED strips to each side and it was glorious! I have pics so it really happened…

I never did understand why micro-atx never got more love - compact size with no compromises on performance seems like a great sweet spot. IMO standard ATX is more than the average gamer or home user even needs these days, we put a gpu and maybe some kind of wifi card and that's about it.

I built my sons pc in the same case. It's not too bad but I was only putting in a Ryzen 7 with stock cooler and a 1660ti so it had plenty of room. I did add a small fan in front of the gpu to blow more air towards the gpu fan since it only has the little slot on the side.

(Editing this in before posting, hoping this is clear but I feel with a moment of filtering through, you can very easily see what I was meaning) So a bit more of a question on the VERY high-end technical level. With Linus opening up his Labs stuff, and you getting the sound chamber and fan tester going... Has there been any talk about somewhat collaborating? Or looking at trying to put something together under a no-so-uniform umbrella? I get not wanting so it doesn't feel like there is any colaborative angst against certain companies... But also feel it could be a way to potentially make a one-stop place to get good feelings on products with varying feelings that are truly independant but can give a solid back and forth from multiple outlets. Obviously not limited to you and LTT. If it would be done I feel everyone involved would want to have 5-10 (obviously exact numbers being pulled out of the aether) just to have potentially competing ideals (outside of want to bring good numbers and facts, not simply feelings) to make things be much more challenged in different thoughts. I get not wanting to centralize things, but also feel you all could see how wanting to centralize it could be useful.

Wow, really splitting hairs here. Until AMD and Intel start talking about BTU, which doesnt help anyone and is also stupid, i happily accept talking about "wattage" for wasted energy as heating in Watts. Just like my fresh water boiler is rated at 27kW, and my kettle at 1700W "heating power". (And yes, the 80% or 95% are still load dependant) .. What was that golden rule? If what you are saying does (add) nothing, just keep it to yourself. I guess the bad mood isnt really coming from seeing a random post on the web, and time spent on that might have instead been used more positive. Have a nice weekend ! :-) (Edit: i also wouldnt put a platinum psu in a gigglebuild which will not get used)

I don't understand why you wouldn't make a box box shaped. That is the practical shape for a PC case to be. Boxes have been around for a long time and the dynamics of boxes are so well understood that any discussion about not understanding them is ludicrous. What the hell is wrong with boxes? I find boxes with minimal, roughly symmetrical adornments to be aesthetically pleasing and elegant, they're easy to make and and rack and stack, and easy to maintain and clean and more durable than weird shapes with weird plastic vents everywhere, which tend to catch on things and become filthy.

Steve, I called the Nintendo hotline. I was stuck on Ultima Exodus I knew the next step was to go to an area, but the game would not continue. I had hand-drawn maps for this game on graph paper but I could not figure out what was wrong. The person on the phone knew my answer right away he said I found a bug where if I did not go directly from one area to the other area it would not work, the workaround was to return to the expected area and then to the objective. Their answer worked. If I remember correctly it cost under 10 bucks for the entire call. About the case, it would look sick if it had a curved clear glass exterior.

I called the Nintendo hotline on Final Fantasy 3 (American version). At the very end of the opera song, there was a part where you were supposed to pick up some flowers and toss them over the edge. I spent days, DAYS, trying to figure out what they were talking about. The sprite used for the flowers didn't look at all like flowers to me and/or I didn't know I could interact with them in a certain way. I called in multiple times. Gave up. Came back weeks later and asked someone else to follow the instructions give to me. They figured it out.
